DS Brooks and DS Devlin investigate the murder of a prison warder, Charlie Tyner, who is found shot to death in a park. From all appearances, Tyner was good at his job and had recently transferred to work in a women's prison. The case takes a sudden twist when one of the prisoners claims that he was a major drug dealer. The Crown prosecutors soon see a link between Tyner, a female prisoner, Tamika Vincent and a major drug importer, Jackson Marshall, who they have been trying to convict for years. Vincent was a mule who was caught smuggling drugs for Marshall and refused to testify against him. If the CPS is going to get him, it will be necessary for them to get her cooperation this time around.
