Amanda Seyfried, Max Irons, and Shiloh Fernandez in Red Riding Hood (2011)

Goofs

Red Riding Hood

Edit

Continuity

Suzette got two scars on her face from the wolf but the very next scene shows her without any scars at all.
Valerie was holding an axe that she snatched from Peter while he wasn't looking. In the next shot, the axe was gone and later appeared on the tree stump.

Factual errors

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

Valerie's grandmother made the cloak for her. It is shown several times in the movie to be only ankle length on her. But in many of the scenes it is shown to be about 30 feet long, way too long to be of any practical use. This could be interpreted as an intended difference in length since the 30 feet long cloak only appears in scenes in which Valerie is dreaming of running away with Peter.

Anachronisms

As this village is small and poor, there is no way all of the villagers would be able to afford to put glass in every window. In the middle ages glass windows were expensive and usually only the rich could afford them. Poor villagers would have normally used dried animal skins scraped very thin to block a window and allow some light into a house.
Several times through the film Solomon tells his crossbow man to "fire", and expression that wasn't used until the introduction of firearms to Europe in the end of the 14th century. And as such hadn't yet become a common command to use for someone in the middle ages especially since Solomon's men doesn't appear to bring any gunpowder with them.

Plot holes

It was settled very early in the movie that the wolf is one of the villagers, which means he could have walked around the square in his human form and found out all the hiding places where Father Solomon's men were setting up. He also would have known that Valerie was being used as bait. Yet, he showed up like he didn't know anything at all.
