- In one episode, Sid watches a movie where dogs get bitten and turn into vampires.
- In one episode, Matt bites Timothy's arm and it is seen bleeding a little bit.
- Many scenes of dogs getting beat up in most episodes
- There's one scene where Timothy flies into the sky after being surprised by Laura and lands on the roof of his house, then he falls off the roof and lands on the drive thru flat on his face, but he is ok in the next scene.
- The show can get extreme with the name-calling and violence because it wasn't really meant specifically for kids, but rather a more general audience.

- The dogs often say "stupid" "idiot" "dumb" and "kill"
- Matt is extremely rude to Timothy and often bullies him
- A lot of name calling. The dogs call each other "stupid" "dumb" "idiot" "moron" "dweeb" and "fatso"
- Matt calls Hugo a dim wit
- Laura screams at Isa and Maurice violently in "The Visitors" and tells them to leave Canine City.

- A demolition team was going to blow up a condemned building with TNT. One of the workers was smoking a cigar and threw it on a ground which lights the TNT. The building explodes and the dogs are covered in soot. Nobody died and it is played for laughs.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- There is a lot of slapstick violence in every episode
- A angry dog beats up Timothy at the beach.
- In "Laura's Birthday", the cake literally explodes.
- Timothy stands in an empty river but a beaver dam breaks and the water gushes out and carries him with it, but Warren saves him.
- Laura falls while roller skating and hurts her leg and goes to a hospital.
- In one episode, Matt steals a bus and tries to take Timothy away from Canine City, but gets caught by the police.
- In "A Snowy Adventure", Laura falls down a hill about three times.
- In "The Talent Show", a random dog threw Laura out the door after finding out she cheated.
- In "Best Friends For-Never", Sid nearly set a restaurant on fire. Also, Laura and Sid have a huge fight.
- The animals at a zoo torture Laura. But it is absolutely hilarious and not scary at all (except maybe the part where the elephant tried to drown her)
- Laura eats spicy food and fire shoots out of her mouth. Timothy gets her an entire pitcher of lemonade.
