As a creative, I love watching shows where talent is showcased, and you can see one-of-a-kind art brought to life by people who are passionate about their work. But 80 percent of the time, the judging on these shows is absolutely horrible. The Meet Your Makers judges are incredibly consistent in their feedback and the featured guest judges really know their stuff. Each show features a different craft and as a viewer, I keep calling it the crafting "sampler platter." I started watching because I'm a big fan of Mark Montano and love his work. He always has something really clever to add and shows that crafting is true art and design. Leann Rhimes is adorable and helps encourage the makers. It's a very supportive-feeling show and all "maker" shows should be this good and well thought-out. PLEASE MAKE MORE EPISODES!!!!
