- Mason wakes up on the second when the blade of the weapon beats down on him. He runs in pursuit of his attacker in the convent, but he is finally stunned in the chapel. Help arrives at the accident scene for Victoria. She is immediately driven to the hospital. Heather asks Dr Garfield to back Scott up in an operation, as he has a lack of confidence in his competences. Alerted by telephone, Julia and Cruz arrive at the hospital. Cruz is reassured when he sees that Chip has been taken out of the accident without a scrape. But the hospital refuses to allow him to take the baby with him for the night without his mother's permission, who is still unconscious. Upon her waking, after the success of her operation, Victoria grants the right to Cruz to keep Chip. In Los Angeles, Eden's doctor recommends that she informs Cruz of the tests which she waits for. But she does not manage to reach him on the telephone. Upon his waking, Mason goes up to the bell tower of the chapel and finds Sister Sarah ready to jump off. He prevents her from it, before Father Michael and Sister Agatha arrive by explaining to him that Sarah is special. Not to disrupt their lives, Michael asks Mason to leave the mission the next morning. Mason then questions Sarah about the death of Mother Isabel and she tells him that she was pushed from the top of the bell tower... Sophia shares with Eden her memories of the beginning of Eden's adolescence, while she disappeared from Santa Barbara when Eden was only seven years old.—Johnny Quick
