Marcie and Gibbs had already established that the north shore of the lake was only accessible by boat, but the satellite photos show vehicle tracks leading into the Ranger station on the north shore. Moreover, when NCIS agent are there, the bad guys arrive in two motor vehicles. In any case, it doesn't make sense to build a Park Ranger station that can only be accessed from the water.
Gibbs supposedly rides a motorcycle to a suspect building. The motorcycle doesn't have throttle, front brake, or clutch, so it wouldn't go anywhere.
The Ranger station on the north shore of the lake is supposedly disused or abandoned, but the lettering on the wood signs by the door and out front is very white and looks freshly carved.
The labels on the search grid of the lake are repeated, which would lead to confusion, plus they make no sense direction-wise.
At approx. 30 mins, Gibbs tries the houses door and finds it locked. He then breaks the window with the butt of the gun, but doesn't reach through the blinds to unlock the door-just simply turns the handle and enters.
