- Gay comedy writer, James Walker, invites actor friend, Jay Mulch, and legendary British TV diva, Charlotte Christian, to read his latest masterpiece, "The Extinction of Fireflies", inspired by the romance of Emperor Hadrian and his boy lover, Antinous. But a lovely weekend in the country turns epic when Jay brings along his hot Greek lover, Callisto, whose feedback is nothing short of spectacular.—Rhode Trip Pictures
- Fifty-something gay James Walker has invited the two so far confirmed actors to his seaside Rhode Island cottage for the weekend to read through the current draft of his latest play, a historical romance between Roman Emperor Hadrian and his fourteen year old lover Antinous. Those two, friends from different social circles, are fifty-seven year old successful actress Charlotte Christian, a diva of a woman, and aspiring actor Jay Mulch, who, in the role of Antinous, is excited to be able to work with a name like Charlotte who he's never met. The fourth for the weekend is Jay's fiancé Callisto, an ethnic Greek masseur who, in advance, has provided notes on the draft via Jay. As the weekend progresses, wounds just below the surface begin to be exposed as the booze begins to flow a little too much in combination with the theme of the play and where each is in his or her life.—Huggo
