Wolves of War (2022)

Goofs

Wolves of War

Edit

Continuity

In the early part of the movie, a British Soldier is seen hiding behind a tree while under fire from a German not so far from him, but on the other side of the tree. The viewer can see the the bullets striking the tree trunk above his head, as if the German was now in front of him.

Factual errors

In one scene, combatants are seen hiding behind a genuine German car called a "Kübelwagen". This vehicle is likened to a "mini-moke". It's panels are made of thin aluminium, and yet, somehow the bullets ricochet off the thin alunimium panels.
Shortly after the British commandos parachute into southern Germany, one of them notes that the nearest Allied troops were no closer than a thousand mikes away. The film is set in the Spring of 1945, right at the very end of the war in Europe, when most of Germany had already been overrun by millions of Allied soldiers. many of whom were in southern Germany, having occupied the Bavarian city of Nuremberg.

Miscellaneous

Like so many other B Grade war movies, no expelled shells can be seen ejected from the automatic guns and rifles.

Anachronisms

When the bombing/rescue plane is first seen approaching the area, from the accents are all British English, but when referring to the Lieutenant, it is said in the American English way.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When the group is running towards the truck, one of them is shouting 'Noreood, machine gun!' You can hear the sound of the room is was recorded in, although the scene is outside, obviously.
