You've watched the wrong episode

I've noticed something about the viewers who have rated this one negatively: they've all watched the wrong episode. It's clear they used a third party site and the wrong episode was provided for this title. Watch the ACTUAL episode (NOT the one with the skull bottle.) It's very good.

One of the best episodes in modern years! Plenty of laughs, Maya was back, who was a great character! I hope she is in it more now that she is engaged with Moe! Nothing good ever happens to Moe, so I am glad for a change!!!

Just an FYI to user 10086cn, I think you may have watched the wrong episode, you're describing the season 32 finale episode that was incorrectly uploaded on streaming sites, instead of this new episode. Ty!

Anyways, I'm happy that the show brought back Ruth and Maya, Ruth is a cool character, but wasn't she buff in season 14? Maya was a great one-timer, I'm glad that she returned, why she and Moe broke up in the first place seemed shallow to me. Overall, a sweet episode about Moe, who has finally found an everlasting love.

Wrong episode

BEWARE. If you started watching this episode and Moe visits bar for bartenders, it is wrong. It should have started with Maggie playing with wooden castle.

First half was garbage but it saved itself in the second half.

The scene where he met her again was cringy (Mainly because of the Music) but hey at least he might get married. Although for some reason I feel like they won't stick with that.

I already knew what this episode was about before watching it sadly, but I genuinely got surprised at the ending. Like, there was no bad ending. Most Moe episodes have bad endings, but no, this one doesnt have that. She said Yes, Moe was happy and then it ended. Congrats, Moe! This will change Moe forever.

Give it an Emmy!

Hilarious episode! It follows a simple but interesting plot, simular to what you might see from this show weekly around 25 years ago. I didnt cringe at this one, all the jokes landed, and it really is just a good fun episode. Check it out on Fox tomorrow!

How wonderful!

I'm so happy for how this episode was written. Moe Szyslak is an important character in The Simpsons. His character has never ceased to make us laugh over the years. He has some truly hilarious lines. But there's far more depth to Moe. He really shows through his character development, much of what the humanity can relate to and is experiencing. Whether it be the blues, or major depressive disorder, the way he is portrayed especially in later seasons, is done so well. His character really shows through his experiences and life's conditioning, many of humanity's inner demons. I really do think that there are many out there, who can relate to at least one thing he struggles with. It could be the inner critic that is inside us all, and for some it is huge and dominating of our lives. This episode portrays the inner critic brilliantly. Another thing that I do believe many can relate to, is failed relationships, especially the kind related directly to one's fears of getting hurt again, of not believing they are good enough, or believing that no one could ever love them or stay. This has been portrayed over the years, and this episode it's written so well. For these reasons, I truly think and feel that this is a beautiful episode, due to it's character development in Moe. It really is so beautiful. He finally faces his fears head on, with someone whom he truly loves, who has reentered his life. Like many of us, we think the relationship will play out the same as a rest. But, if you hang in there long enough, and take some risks to love and commit again, this is the wonderful result that can come true. Moe deserves to have happiness. He deserves this healthy, loving, long term relationship. Not only that, he asked the big question "will you marry me?", and the answer he received was yes. It's so lovely, to see a character portraying what so many in humanity are struggling with on the inside, experience this kind of breakthrough. Sure, he will still struggle, and have his issues. Conditioning cannot ever be changed over night, it takes time, and sometimes a lifetime of work. But this development in Moe Szyslak is significant, it really, really is lovely, and I hope that maybe, his story in this episode, may connect with people out there, and give them a genuine glimmer of hope for present, and for the future.

On a side note, I absolutely loooooved the social commentary on apps, accessing internet pages and making online submissions. Damn is it relatable hahahaha. I especially found the 'select the fire hydrants' segments to be right on point. I was literally dealing with this just the other day, and after I submitted I just kept getting different or the very same 'select blah blah blah' it was soooooo frustrating, I did it 7 times and then I just gave up lol. So yeah, I loved The Simpson's referencing these very real and relatable annoyances!!!

Outstanding!

Warning: Spoilers
It was nice to see Maya again, and have her and Moe rekindle their relationship. I also enjoyed how we got to see some of Moe's past and why he has a hard time with commitment, the ending was really sweet, even if a bit rushed, and it was funny hearing everyone sing.

The side story was really good too, and seeing Ruth again, and having her make a meta joke about "How Marge hasn't seen her in 25 years while she lives just next door" ( which makes me wonder why we haven't seen much of her in later seasons)?

Overall, real solid episode and I really hope Moe and Maya go through with the wedding and that there are no break-ups/divorces.
