Best of the season so far!
Episode 3 has really struck something special! Everything came together in some beautiful ways to make this one of the best episodes of the series so far!
I love the dynamics of each character being brought to the forefront. Tensions are rising and the story is setting up for some amazing moments to come. The actors are at their peak with emotional and lengthy monologues.
The cinematography is stunning as well. If you're interested, the story of the opening 15-minute shot just adds to the beauty of this episode.
Falling in love with this show more and more each episode!

Will enrich your understanding of Jesus
What happens between the lines of the Scriptures. Jesus tires to the point of exhaustion. The Apostles joke, argue, handle logistics. The humanity of each Apostle is developed, as is the humanity of Jesus.
Most religious themed movies present the Scriptures word for word. The result can be dry or preachy. This is different. Way, way different.
This series has deepened my faith like no other.

Short but great
the brick
I love this episode for its special status of brick of understanding. Because it is only a long talk in night, expecting the Savior. Because the confession of Saint mary is so delicate and precious. Because you see an exhausted Son of God, after a long , not easy day . Because the Apostles are not icons but living people , with their past and frustrations. Because the gestures of Saint Mother of God to Her Son are more than powerfull announce of the Passion. Short, in night, a talk.

Blasphemy against the Mother of God
This episode blasphemes the perpetual virginity of Mary the Mother of God. The perpetual virginity was denied by none of the Church Fathers, nor Christians for 1000+ years. That's a 1 out of 10 from me. Quite enjoy the show, but when lines are added in that directly contradict the truth, that I don't enjoy.
It also has Mary saying she doubted whether Jesus was the son of God.... The same Mary who had an angel appear to her and tell her so... I guess the first error I mentioned allows you to believe the second one. And that is why the importance of the truth is important.
I have not rated the show itself down for this, only this particular episode.
