Random Seating is an experimental narrative short film about a young Thai woman living in Chicago has to learn how to accept the reality part of life, by clashing into random characters and get involved in the randomness of unforeseen events.
The making process is also influenced by John Cage's Chance Operations. Each of three happening scenes consists of actor(s) with rigid scripting, some with improvisation, and some are real people who were present at the public places where the film was being shot, which resulted spontaneous random interactions.
