- With Batwoman and The Crows each hot on the trail of the False Face Society, their efforts collide, and tension escalates. Alice seeks out Enigma,and Sophie and Ryan find some common ground
- When Batwoman inadvertently blows Sophie's cover, Ryan offers to take her place as one of Black Mask's drivers. Meanwhile, Alice convinces Evelyn to erase her memories of Young Kate, and someone she apparently killed reveals themselves and demands to know why Alice tried to kill them.—Gislef
- False Facer gangers conduct a lightning raid on a pharma company and drive back to their headquarters. Meanwhile, Black Mask has Angelique, and says that since Ocean disappeared, they have had problems with "quality control" and Snakebite been sometimes fatal. Black Mask wants Angelique to "fix" it, and says that they'll soon have the necessary ingredients. The villains threaten her with acid, and Angelique quickly says that she can fix the Snakebite.
Sophie calls Ryan, who is in the Batcave, and tells her that Angelique was abducted but figures that she's still alive. When Ryan asks for more information, Sophie tells her to leave it alone. Ryan wants to help and Sophie asks how she can. After considering the Batsuit, Ryan tells Sophie that she knows Angelique the best. Sophie isn't convinced and tells Ryan to stand d
Once Sophie hangs up, Ryan tells Luke what has happened. He's learned that two of the cars that abducted Angelique were also involved in the pharmaceutical heist, and figures the Society is stocking up on styles. The one ingredient needed for Snakebite that wouldn't have been at the company was fear toxin, and Ryan figures the gangers will conduct another raid. She has Ryan put a trace on the cars, and tells Luke that she's not going to loop in Sophie.
In Rhyme's office, Alice looks at a mounted photo of a magazine cover of the doctor. Rhyme's new patient, Jackson Charles comes in and mistakes Alice for Rhyme. Alice plays along, tells him that his case is disturbing, and asks who hurt him.
Evelyn comes in, and Alice kills Jackson with a thrown knife. Alice addresses Rhyme as Enigma, and says that she needs some alone time with her. Rhyme figures that Alice is there to get back her memories of Ocean, and consequently turned Beth into Alice. Alice says that she doesn't need the memories back, and she has to forget Kate.
The gangers driving the three cards receive instructions to drive to the "finish line" they follow GPS coordinates, two of them swerving off. When the third one stops, stop, Batwoman yanks the ganger out of the car and demands to know where the other two cars are going. The masked ganger is actually Sophie, and she tells Batwoman that she has no idea what she's done and grunts in frustration. Sophie says that she's burned, and says that she was undercover and had took the place of the original driver. Black Mask gives out the location of the pickup for the heist, and abort if the driver is burned.
Alice tells Evelyn that she's only alive because she has an uncanny ability to erase memories. Since Kate live in her memory, and she's been having hallucinations of Kate when they were 13. Evelyn asks if Alice understands why Alice shouldn't have the memories of Kate erased, and warns that erasing the memories will change Alice's personality because Kate was her moral compass. She asks if Alice is rational, and wants to be at the mercy of her every dark impulse. Alice says that she's not into self-reflection, threatens Evelyn with a knife, and says that she owes her. Evelyn agrees, says that Alice needs to confront Kate, and then she can erase the memories without fracturing Alice's psyche. Satisfied, Alice agrees.
Sophie goes to Jacob's office, and finds him with Agent Russel Tavaroff. Jacob says that they were discussing Sophie's False Face operation, and asks for an update. Sophie says that Batwoman interfered and Black Mask aborted the operations. Russel says that Black Mask executed three Crow agents operations. Jacob tells him that he'll be all and dismisses him.
Jacob questions Sophie's operation, and figures that she making it personal and it's going to get Sophie killed. He tells Sophie that he's putting Russel in the operation instead of Sophie. Sophie warns that Russel will escalate the violence, and Jacob tells her that he's not going to let her sacrifice herself for Angelique. She asks him what it's actually about, but he simply snaps at her to get out and she leaves.
Sophie goes to the Hold Up to drink and tells Ryan what happened. She tells Ryan that Russel will scorch the earth to bring the Society down, including Angelique. Sophie needs a driver, and Black Mask is looking for a new driver. Ryan smiles and says that she can prove it's good, and they need to find Angelique before Russel does because they got her into the mess. After a moment, Sophie shakes Ryan's hand in agreement.
Evelyn hypnotizes Alice, who finds herself in her memories in the back of a car with Young Kate. Kate is taking a photo of them, and asks if Alice wants her to leave her alone. Alice says that Kate can leave, and Kate gives her the photo that shows Kate and Beth as 13 years old. Kate tells Alice that she sees that she has a lot of love to give, and Alice would know it as well if she would consider. Alice says that she's a manipulator and only pretended to care about Kate because that's what sisters do.
Kate refuses to believe that Alice was born with a bad brain, and says that she'll always believe in her. Alice says that it doesn't mean anything to her because Kate is dead, grabs her camera and takes a photo, and Beth disappears. Ocean is driving the car, and says that he doesn't believe Alice has no memories. Kate reappears and tells Ocean that Alice is silly.
Alice wakes up from her fugue and tells Evelyn that she thinks the doctor is toying with her.
Ryan takes Sophie to Mary's car that Mary has loaned them, and Sophie tells Ryan that she got information from the last driver that she'll have to go through some street-racing movies. Ryan readily agrees, then wonders if Sophie is looking for an excuse to call the operation off. She says that she'll do her part and study, and asks what happens when they hire. Sophie describes the hand-off procedure once they hire Ryan. On the way there, Ryan will place a tracker on the fear gas canister, and they'll follow it to Angelique. Ryan says that she had to reach out to someone to set up the hiring, and assures Ryan that he's trustworthy.
Later, Sophie takes Ryan to Luke at the Hold Up, who creates a fake ID for her. Ryan feigns ignorance of Luke, and Luke deploys her fake identity and spoofs a message from a known Society associate to get her the job. Sophie thanks Luke and leaves, and Luke gives Ryan comms, the tracker for the canister, and a remote AI for the Batmobile that Ryan should hook up[ to Mary's car. He tells Ryan that her teaming up with Sophie is a bad idea, because Sophie will figure out Ryan is Batwoman.
Alice describes her dream and how Ocean appeared. Evelyn says that Alice begged her not to erase Alice's memories of Ocean, and figures that Alice is capable of emotion and attachment. Alice tells her that she's wrong, and says that she killed Ocean and felt nothing. She orders Evelyn to rip the ghosts of her memories out of her mind.
Ryan drives to a rendezvous with the gangers, showing off her skills. They question her about the car's technical skills, and Ryan successfully answers their questions. Satisfied, they give her a mask and a phone with the coordinates, and say the first job is that night.
That night, Ryan goes to the starting spot for the cars. She gets the directions and races off, and the other two cars go off on their own routes. Sophie calls Ryan and says that there's an unknown drone above Ryan, and if she pulls over to plant the tracker they'll see her. Ryan figures that she can do it without stopping, and Sophie warns that if she inhales the gas she'll be affected.
Ryan gets the go signal, ignores Sophie, and drives to the rendezvous to get the canisters. More gangers load the canisters in the trunks, and Ryan confirms with Luke that the Ai can drive Mary's car on its own. The cars take off heading for the delivery rendezvous, and Ryan has Luke put the car on AI while she plants the tracker on one of the canisters. Luke takes over, and a police car gives chase, sirens flashing. The police open fire on the car, and Luke runs a red light and the police cars have to stop when the cross-traffic blocks them.
Ryan arrives at the delivery rendezvous and gangers take the canisters and drive off with them. Ryan goes to her apartment to meet with Sophie, and she finds Luke there. They realize Sophie ditched them, and are planning to take on the Crows herself.
Alice tells Evelyn to dig deeper and remove her memories of Ocean. Evelyn hypnotizes Alice, and Alice sees herself kissing Ocean She yanks away and wonders if she's in Ocean's sex dream, and Ocean says that she brought him there to apologize. He asks Alice why she killed him, then says that she killed him for noting. Alice tells Ocean that he would have done the same to her, and he says that he never would.
The scene switches to Evelyn's office, and Ocean breaks in, knocks Alice to the floor, and prepares to shoot her. She wonders if it's real, and Ocean tells her that he's alive and pissed off. Alice wonders how he's alive, and Ocean points out that Safiyah dipped the knife she gave to Alice in Desert Rose. Ocean tells Alice that he deserved worse than to lose his memories. He's in Gotham for other business for Safiyah, but wanted to ask Alice whey she killed him.
Alice finally tell Ocean that she thought of him every day since she left Coryana, but it was the only way to get Kate back. Ocean lowers his guard, and Kate hits him over the head, tells Evelyn that she's a manipulator, and struggles with ocean. Evelyn gives a post-hypnotic trigger to paralyze them both, cuts herself free with the knife in her cane, and leaves.
Alice and Ocean gain all of their memories of the past that Evelyn unlocked with her trigger.
Sophie follows the canister to the facility the gangers are using to make the Snakebite. She takes out the guard and goes in, and Black Mask seals the door and taunts her from the shadows. Black Mask asks how she found the place and why she came there alone, then knocks her out from behind. The villain trains his gun on her, then helps her up and takes her to Angelique and handcuffs Sophie to the table.
Black Mask is there, and says that he knows the Crows aren't sending backup. He realize that Batwoman didn't tell Sophie what he said about how it was personal, and says that they'll make sure they dump her body somewhere effective. Batwoman disarms him with a batarang and drops down. Black Mask draws another gun and shoots her with no effective because of the Batsuit. He knocks Batwoman down, but Sophie frees herself with the batarang and saves Batwoman.
Batwoman tells Black Mask to show them Angelique, and he turns on a projector showing a ganger holding a gun to Angelique's head. Black Mask tells his ganger to shoot Angelique if Batwoman and Sophie don't let him good. The two women look at each other and nod, and then Batwoman releases Black Mask. He tells her to bring a gun to a gunfight then leaves.
Black Mask goes to the lab where he has Angelique and she's working with the toxin. Angelique tells him that it's the first cook, and wants to test the new Snakebite on her. She says that she's sober, and the dose could be fatal. When Black Mask plans to inject her anyway, Angelique tells him that she'll help him find Ocean.
As they walk away, Ocean says that Safiyah gave him Enigma's contact information. When he called her, she said that someone was following her and Ocean figured it was Alice. Ocean told his sister that there was one plant left, and Safiyah thinks Batwoman has it. Alice realizes that Batwoman used her to cure herself of the Kryptonite poisoning.
Ocean asks if Alice regrets stabbing him, and she finally shoves him up against a dumpster and kisses him. Ocean kisses her back.
Sophie goes to Mary's car and sees the bullet holes, and the AI mounted to the dashboard.
Russel and his team are at the facility where black Mask and Batwoman were earlier. He analyzes the footage and spots the blood stains that Batwoman lost from the gunshot. Russel takes a sample and studies it.
At the Crows HQ, Sophie hooks the AI up to a computer. She hears Luke talking to Ryan, and Ryan talking about her Batsuit... and realizes Ryan is Batwoman.
