- A drain clog turns out to be more than just a little matted hair and soap scum. Then, scientists fight to contain the creature they've been studying- but is the true threat one of them?
- In "Pipe Screams", a plumber is called in to deal with clogged pipes in an old apartment, and discovers that the clog is more than he expected. In "Within the Walls of Madness", the only survivor of a doomed Antarctic research is believed to have killed the others, but what really happened spells the end for humanity.—Gislef

Pipe Screams
Residents in a cheap apartment building complain to the landlady, Victoria Smoot, about the leaky pipes. She calls in plumber Linus Carruthers and dismisses the people in the building as animals, flushing garbage down their toilets, and takes Linus to the basement and points out all the water from leaky pipes. Victoria asks Linus who much it's going to cost to fix the problem, and he points out the pipes are lead and lead is toxic to children. He says that per the law, he can't repair lead pipes, only gut them.
The landlady tells Linus that it's the worst building she owns, and she's not going to spring for copper pipes. Victoria says that she called Linus in because his outfit had the most complaints filed at city hall. Linus insists that it was his brother, who has passed away. The landlady says that she picked Linus' business because he can't afford one more complaint, and if he reports the lead pipes then she'll make the complaint and ruin him. Linus says that he understands, and Victoria leaves him to it.
Linus knocks on a groaning pipe, and hears something moving inside of it. The creature inside the pipes drops into a washer behind Linus, and then crawls out. Linus fall and sees a smear of goo coming out of the washer, and a smear of blood where a cat in the basement was. The plumber figures the job isn't worth the grief.
In an apartment above, the resident Janet goes to answer a knock on the door. It's Linus, who says that he traced the problem to her unit. Other resident go by on the way to their late shifts, and Janet warns Linus that Victoria takes contractors to court rather than pay them. She lets Linus in, and says that he's the first repairmen she's seen in years. Linus looks at a photo of Janet's daughter, Lyla, and Janet says that she has to pick Lyla up.
As Linus checks the bathtub, Janet tells him about how the other residents have seen and heard strange things. Linus figures that there are rats, and they feed on the sludge in the pipes, and Janet leaves to get Lyla and leaves Linus there. Once Janet leaves, Linus hears something scurrying in the walls. He follows the noise to the kitchen, finds a hole in the drywall, and behind him something scurries on the floor. Linus turns to see a door beneath the sink close, and a trail of goo across the floor.
Linus throws the sink doors open and finds a pipe with a hole in it. When he reaches for it, a mass of hair and clog leaps out and wraps around his hand. Screaming in pain, Linus finally pulls it off along with the skin on his hands, which the sludge eats. It then crawls across the floor at Linus, and he pins it to the floor with a pipe. The clog crawls up the inside and out the other end, and jumps on Linus' face. Linus manages to pull it off and throw it against the wall, and as it charge sat him Janet arrives with Lyla and slams a wastes basket down, containing the clog.
Linus starts to call animal control to deal with it, and Janet says that she has a better idea. The plumber smiles and agree. He calls Victoria and says that she'd better see it for herself. Victoria drives over and comes to the basement, and finds Linus and the residents waiting for her. She says that there won't be any co-ops, and Linus steps out. He and Janet tell Victoria that she's the problem, and everyone advances on Janet. Victoria backs away over a sewer cover, and the sludge grabs her and pulls her down as she pleads for her life. The sludge burps and tosses one of Victoria's bloody shoes our, and Linus and the residents leave.
The next day before going to school, Lyla leaves a bowl of cat food and a picture of her and "Fluffy" next to the sewer cover.

In The Walls of Madness
At a U.S. detention center 72 hours after the "containment breach", Zeller sits in a cell and his lawyer Tara Cartwright comes to see him. She's replacing the public defender, and Zeller knows Tara from TV and that she defends "monsters". Tara asks Zeller to tell her his story, and he says that containment breach is a cover story. She knows that the base Zeller was at is a bio-tech research facility, but figures that due to its isolated location in Antarctica, is more. Zeller says that they conduct research for the military in paranormal phenomena, and the primary researcher Trollenberg was a leading pioneer in quantum physics, and led a team into the mountains. She apparently discovered a quantum wormhole... and something crawled out.
Six Months Ago
A red alert of a breach goes off, and Zeller and his team of Mallory and Carson confirm that the air is fine. They wait for the evac chopper, and Carson snipes at Zeller. Mallory stops them from arguing, and Zeller says that Carson is Mallory's lover. Carson takes offense, and says that Trollenberg is still in her lab "collating" and figures that she's dead since the alert went off in her sector. Zeller sarcastically suggests that Carson go find out what happened, and Carson kisses Mallory and goes. Once they're alone, Zeller and Mallory hug.
A frequency comes over the intercom and the lights flicker. The walls flicker and the lights go out. The power goes black and tentacles reach out at Mallory. Meanwhile, Carson finds Trollenberg in the hallway, and she asks whose left. Carson tells her, then takes Trollenberg to the others. A bloody hand appears on the porthole to the next room, and Carson opens the door to find Mallory's bloody body on the floor and Zeller standing over it with an axe. Zeller says that he saw something, and it grabbed Mallory and he couldn't stop it. He mutters that it came in through the walls.
The Present
Zeller tells Tara that he's not insane, demons exist and are on the way, and there's nothing they can do to stop them.
The Past
Carson tied Zeller up, then beats him. Zeller insists that he didn't kill Mallory, and she was torn apart. He tells them to look at the feed, and Trollenberg goes to check it out. Carson gives her a cattle prod, and she tells him to make sure nothing happens to Zeller while she's gone. Trollenberg goes to the monitor room, watches the feed of a tentacle pulling Mallory apart.
Once they're alone, Carson tells Zeller that he's considering shooting him, and that Zeller killed Mallory because he was jealous. Zeller says that they're all fucked.
Trollenberg smiles at Mallory's death, erases the feed, and goes back to the others. She says that she saw Zeller kill Mallory, and Carson prepares to kill Zeller. Zeller has worked his way free of his straps, grabs the nearby axe, and kills Carson. He says that it was self-defense, and Trollenberg points out that the cameras captured everything. Zeller asks why Trollenberg is lying, then says that they're going to look at the footage together.
The evac team lands and discovers that the staff's comms are turned off or damaged. Meanwhile, Zeller and Trollenberg watch on the monitors as the evac team enter the base. Trollenberg plays the feed which shows Zeller killing Carson. The earlier feed is deleted, and Zeller figures that Trollenberg deleted it and asks why. She says that the end days are there, and mankind has reached its conclusion. Trollenberg says that she found the truth on the expedition. She explains that a spy satellite detected an anomaly, and she led a team of scientists into the mountains to investigate. Trollenberg was the only one who made it back alive, and she found a vast alien skeleton and a bone flute.
Trollenberg tells Zeller that the "Old Ones" gifted them with the land, sea, and air, and humanity pillaged it. The Old Ones despise humanity for what it's done, and soon humanity will be obsolete . She takes out the flute and says that it bends time, and she looked through a doorway it created and saw the wrath of God. Trollenberg blows into the flute and the lights flicker, and Zeller yells at her to make it stop. He cuts Trollenberg's throat, and the team come in and capture Zeller
The Present
Tara sarcastically applauds Zeller's story, and he says that the ending hasn't happened yet. Trollenberg wasn't looking into the past but into the future, and saw what happens to humanity in the future. As Tara leaves, Zeller yells that they come through the walls, and when they do, nothing will stop them.
Later, Zeller is taken to the execution table and strapped down. Tara is watching with the warden, and the warden informs Zeller that he has been granted his last request: to use the flute. When Zeller does, the lights flicker and the walls weaken. A tentacle monstrosity reaches through the wall and kills the witnesses. Zeller looks up and see Trollenberg in the past, watching him. Meanwhile, the Old One grabs Tara and slams her through the observation window, holding her over Zeller. It pulls her back, choking her, and Zeller screams that they come in through the walls.
