Loved it! Looks like Dwayne Johnson saved dc after all. Got what was required here. Went into the theater expecting nothing but got what didn't even imagined. So hats off to Dwayne Johnson and Henry cavill both. Hope will see a much more action and thrilling movie like this or more than this with them together again.

I feel blessed being a Fan of dark origin stories.

It is everything that I could have wished for to watch in a DC origin story. It was fresh, there was comedy relief which were not cringe, they were very smartly written that I can say for sure. Dr. Fate and Hawkman were an epitome of Class. And lastly Black Adam, it was humoumgous and couldn't have been perfected by anyone except The Rock. Its indeed a fantastic and string start to DC's Phase 1. Don't miss it guys. If you are not a fan, take the risk. Its worth it.

Staring from the entry of the anti-hero and all his presence throughout the movie was electric. Dr Fate was magical. Lastly, just wait for the credits.

First of all you MUST see this movie in a theatre. The special effects and sound can only be appreciated in a theatre. The characterization was well constructed. They had plenty of action from start to finish. Their was never a dull moment when it came to action. The cast was awesome and well balanced. The scenery was authentic as well as the extras of people. I can really appreciate the authenticity of the people. I really liked the surprise at the end. Please don't leave after the credits. This movie is a great start to many installments to come. This was an introduction to the character of Black Adam. I recommend this movie.

Warning: Spoilers
"Black Adam Precursor" is a really short film by South Korean writer Jim Lee from 2020. Or actually it is two short films apparently with the first running for under a minute and the second being even ten seconds or so shorter, which means the entire thing runs for barely two minutes and that does include closing credits to some extent. You can read the name of the protagonist in the title and I am not too familiar with him. I guess the boost here and that many people have seen these comic book style short films comes from the fact that the main character is voiced by Dwayne Johnson. Or I could also say The Rock and I remember how he was more famous under that alias, but with years progressed now more people know him for being an actor and not for being a wrestler, even if you can certainly say that he was an actor all along as pretty much nothing you see in the world of wrestling is authentic and not scripted.

But back to this one here: I cannot say it made me particularly curious about what is to come. The protagonist looks a lot like Johnson, maybe too much even. Reminded me of a recent animated character voiced by Will Smith that also totally looks like him, even if maybe by now I like Johnson even more than Smith, which also may have to do with the latter's wife. Anyway, this little thingey here seemed a bit too full of itself for my taste. And not too creative or inspired. He was 5,000 years in prison? I mean I understand they cannot give all the background information there, but he looks fitter and more muscular than I would expect somebody to look like after such a term. Doctor Fate seems way too similar to Dr. Strange from what he looks like here. Atom Smasher to a lesser extent maybe too similar to Hulk or The Thing (that sounds more like The Rock, especially with what The Thing is made of). I feel this could be just another attempt to cash in on the recent very successful wave of superhero movies, especially with Avengers kinda over now. But the footsteps are surely too big and Johnson's solid voice work cannot change any of that. The character is not too interesting to me and the reference about him being an antihero at best and not a kind-spirited savior also felt rather for the sake of it. You need to bring better elaboration with stuff like that. Overall, definitely not a failure, but still a thumbs-down for me. Not recommended.

Very amazing movie!!!

Warning: Spoilers
I believe the only reason I didn't like it more was because everyone is currently experiencing super hero weariness. Aside from that minor issue, I thought this movie to be really enjoyable and adhere to the super hero movie formula. After the recent Marvel releases, it was amazing to see the action was incredible and the visual effects were out of this world (Good to see DC films beat the Disney machine at something). In conclusion, I would unquestionably suggest seeing this with some friends.

P. S. I especially liked the social commentary on neo-colonialism, and I believe that it should remain a hot topic in public discourse.
