The cast is strong and the writing is funny. If you like 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Arrested Development, Superstore you will probably like this show.

Lots of material here seems to have been taken from an episode of The Simpsons. (The Simpsons episode was a blast).
Take a peek at Season 2, episode 15, from 1991. Then you can see how this particular show doesn't measure up.
A small handful of laughs doesn't cut it. I'll see where it goes. Maybe it will improve. Just my two cents worth.

The New "Office"

American Auto is a MUST-WATCH! Funniest show created since the "Office". Extremely disappointed to find out NBC canceled the show to keep other lame shows going. The humor is so creative and top notch. The dynamic of the characters is well thought out and relatable. This show did not get the good marketing it deserved, otherwise everyone would be raving about it. Having worked in corporate America myself, it adds a greater depth to the humor as well. All around amazing show that will make anyone laugh. I can't recommend it highly enough! I hope NBC sees their missed opportunity and pick it up again for another 6 SEASONS!!

Wow! Sinking ships are sad. Words fail. All kinds of ostensibly Profesional production people have pooled their talents to come up with this stinking fish. Is this all the brain trust at NBC can come up with? Oh how the mighty fall. Absolutely dreadful. The actors, to their credit I guess, try to breathe life into this mess but alas they are but actors and not paramedics. Perhaps if they had employed writers it would not have been so Payne-ful. Other than that I guess it's pretty good.

This feels like it came 10 years to late and even then it would still feel boring and outdated. It thinks just saying the word sex is funny and that's all that's done with the show. I only found one joke funny the entire runtime and even then that was a stretch. It's not a comedy or a drama, it's just boring. It feels like q couple or CEO's got together to make something that would make people like and relate to them and stop saying "eat the rich"
