Whatever tension there was in this drama evaporated at the end of the first episode. It showed Bob North and Magdalene having an affair. Magdalene's attack on Bob outside the coroner's court was just a show for the cameras.
The second episode sees Susan having her own questions. Bob is a photographer and lied about a photo he took in Brittany.
