I like how Ryan is different from Kate while yes Kate was a hero and she went about saving lives and dealing those who deserved justice, just that. Ryan is hope she gives them what Kate couldn't in her time being Batwoman. She's the light that Gotham& her team needs, this ep showed that. Also like how she's growing into Batwoman now, she's not here to be Kate's shadow she's here to put her on identity to BW and she's doing a good job at it. The new villain is very intriguing and gives me a Joker vibe, he's def gonna bring that oomph that the show needs. And im Anxious to see where Kate Kane goes from here. That twist at the end? Yikes.

Okay, at least Alice was original or not used on TV before. Here, though, they introduce Black Mask. Which would have been cool if just hadn't seen an updated version in Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey. The hey can try other villains. Decent episode plot wise. I don't really care about Ryan's love life. However, best one-liner of the season to Black Mask. It was when they have just sawed that henchman in half and Batwoman wakes up protesting. Black Mask asks her, "This is an HR matter. What are you, OSHA?" I laughed out loud at that.
I would give it 10 points, but...

I hate the fact that this season wants to show us how bad white people and cops are. That's stupid. None of them are bad. This show is not Black Lightning.
The rest of the episode was really good. Very bloody, very exciting with many surprises. And I like Ryan more and more with every episode.
