Much more than just another skateboarding video, "Sex, Hood, Skate, and Videotape" is a truly raw portrayal of a crew's lives on the streets of New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, etc. So expect to see drugs, sex, real crime, lots of people fighting (namely kids) and even more people shining on top of a skateboard. Raekwon and Ice-T show up for some cameos rapping which adds some variety to the tape. Soundtrack is great as well and getting to see the nyc legend Kyle James skating to the sound of Nas's classic "New York State of Mind" is just poetry. Imdb mentions a budget of $200 and it's incredible to think how that sum came to create this fantastic document. 9/10.
