Hilarious, Honest and (Dare I Say?) at Times Heartwarming

Hilary making her own show was a smart business move. While her and David work extremely well together, the arguing did get old at times, and sometimes I just want to see people fall in love with their original home instead of listing it (being a 40/60 likelyhood in Love It or List It because of how GREAT both her and David are in both of their careers). Hilary is savage in the best ways. My partner and I constantly laugh at her insults of the original home. I often go around our home and say "What would Hilary say?". This woman is quotable. This show is definitely not a 1, the people giving it that clearly are upset about David not being in it; however, I do think this show is equally as good as Love It or List it because Hilary still brings her consistent flare to it. Give it a watch for yourself to decide whether or not you love it. I definitely do!

Hilary Farr is her usual Genius!
I love Hilary Farr's be show, Tough Love!

One itty bitty recommendation- lighten up on the eyebrows!

There is so much Drama and a Lot of surprises! This is going on my Favs!!

There is so much I want to do with my house, where we have been for 30 years of our 42 year marriage. Hilary, you need to come to Mississippi!

It's a shame poor ole David is out doing his thing without Hilary. The two of them together were good. Although sometimes I wanted to slap one or the other of them.

In the episode I'm watching They are going through the woman's "Over flow of Sweaters" and I just cackled!

In Mississippi you don't need sweaters much at all!

Give me a Gin & Tonic!

Warning: Spoilers
My aching head! It took everything in me to finish seeing Season 2. Episode 9, "Color Clash". The issue I had in this episode wasn't with Hillary; it was with Jennifer, Jason's wife. I give Hillary a standing ovation for the way she handled this very stressful couple. Not only did they (mostly Jennifer) not want to listen to Hillary's suggestions, Jennifer went behind Hillary's back to choose a different color for the kitchen cabinets. Who does that?! Even Hillary told Jennifer and Jason, "Why am I here"?

When the house was done, I'm sad to say that it was the only Hillary designed house that I did not like. It wasn't because of Hillary, she did her job making the house work for the family. I could not stomach the color choices that Jennifer and Jason (mostly Jennifer) chose. But other than this, I love this show and Hillary.

Unnecessarily rude.

The latest episode showed Hilary at her lowest: rudely asking a man going through chemo "are you crazy?" when he made a suggestion. Then following up and abrasively criticizing an idea he had. The man and his wife looked shocked.

Who needs that type of feedback?

Hilary is the Gordon Ramsey of HGTV, and not in a good way. In Love it or List it, she was more harmless and a nicer problem solver. Now I think she's just cruel and caustic. It's odd because I loved her in LIOLI

She is a great designer (in my opinion), so that's why I just don't understand why she unleashed this new persona. Hope she goes back to her old ways.
