- Jenny Lewis: I warned you to stay away from this Danny.
- Danny Quinn: See, I thought we were flirting, it's so difficult to read women these days.
- [Walking in on Connor who is made home temporarily in one of the labs]
- Sir James Lester: Do you always bring this much stuff to work?
- Connor Temple: Er... Yes. I like to be prepared.
- Sir James Lester: I know some of the creatures can be frightening, but surely this many pairs of underpants is overdoing it.
- Jenny Lewis: [about Danny] He's really overdoing the alpha male bit isn't he.
- [Danny reverses back]
- Jenny Lewis: Something's wrong
- Danny Quinn: No Sat Nav, show us the way back to the ARC.
- Danny Quinn: [about the fungus infected man] So we corner it and then we grill it, right?
- Abby Maitland: Isn't that cruel?
- Danny Quinn: What?
- Abby Maitland: That thing was a man not long ago, suppose he's still in there.
- Danny Quinn: So we ask it nicely and then we grill it, right?
- Abby Maitland: Thank you.
- Sir James Lester: [Looking at the Fungus covered man] Well this could be tricky to explain to the next of kin. Good news he's not technically dead, bad news he's turned into a mushroom.
- Sir James Lester: How did you get in?
- Danny Quinn: Jumped the perimeter fence and kicked in a fire door. It was easy.
- Sir James Lester: What the hell are you doing here?
- Danny Quinn: It's my life's ambition to fight dinosaurs, save the world. Look... I just want to help, that's all.
- Jenny Lewis: I warned you to stay away from this, Danny.
- Danny Quinn: See, I thought you were flirting. It's so difficult to read women these days.
- Sir James Lester: [to Becker] Can you pistol-whip him?
- Captain Becker: Sir?
- Sir James Lester: Just a thought.
- Captain Becker: We have an intruder in Sector Seven. No identification as yet.
- Connor Temple: [His Diictodon has just escaped] Is it small and ugly in a kind of cute way? Just a guess.
- Sir James Lester: Mr Quinn, the fate of the nation, possibly the world, hangs on what we do here. It's not a place for chancers and wide boys.
- Danny Quinn: My brother was killed by a creature. Don't ask me to pretend it didn't happen! You've seen what I can do and I want in.
- Abby Maitland: This is a climate-controlled lab, Connor. You can't just treat it like a pet's adventure playground.
- Connor Temple: I know, but you just trying looking after them for one day. It's like Prison Break with beavers.
- Captain Becker: [to Danny] You're going nowhere until we decide what to do with you. Don't get too comfortable.
- Connor Temple: Karma must really work, eh, Danny? It's not too long ago that you had me banged up. Look at you now.
- Danny Quinn: The fact that I saved your life doesn't win me any credit?
- Connor Temple: No.
- Danny Quinn: What does that machine do, then?
- Connor Temple: You're not even supposed to be looking at that machine. It's top secret, innit?
- [Excited]
- Connor Temple: But it is brilliant. And, you know, it's completely unique. Well, I bet you're wondering who invented it?
- [Danny shrugs]
- Connor Temple: Le Connor Temple.
- Danny Quinn: What?
- Connor Temple: [Loses his excitement] Connor Temple. That's... I invented it.
- Sir James Lester: At the risk of sounding like someone from the Old Testament, is there any sane reason why you're keeping animals in the ARC?
- Sir James Lester: Oh, that's a great idea. Let's send a criminal onto the streets with a flame thrower!
- Danny Quinn: I'm not a criminal.
- Sir James Lester: Well, you broke in here.
- Danny Quinn: Yeah, well, I didn't steal anything, did I?
- Sir James Lester: [to Danny] The point is, A. you should be in custody, B. you're not part of the team.
- Connor Temple: He's done a pretty good job for us. Twice.
- Danny Quinn: Three times, actually.
- Sarah Page: We need all the help we can get, Lester. I think, we should trust him.
- Sir James Lester: Fantastic! You've been here five minutes and I've already got a mutiny on my hands.
- Sir James Lester: Now, Christine, I wanted you to be the first to know. You're right, I am going to need a man just like Captain Wilder to replace Cutter.
- Christine Johnson: I'm glad you've come round to my way of thinking.
- Sir James Lester: Oh, not Wilder himself, of course. No, he's playing much too vital a role on your own staff. But Danny Quinn here is just like him. Background in the police, firearms training, management skills. The perfect choice.
- Danny Quinn: What's the pay?
- Sir James Lester: Next to nothing.
- Danny Quinn: Seems fair.
- Sir James Lester: Try not to make a complete dog's breakfast of this, won't you?
