Sad Ending To A Good Season
ccthemovieman-116 February 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Wow, what a shocking beginning. Don Flack's girlfriend, "Jessica" (Emanuelle Vaugier) is talking to him on the phone while watching the arrested son of media mogul "Robert Dunbrook" at a cafe when suddenly a big armored-type truck rams into the cafe and shots fire out. Flack hears the commotion and races over to the sight, only to discover a badly wounded Jessica, whom he rushes into a patrol car to get to the nearest hospital.

Sad to say, we find out a few minutes later that we'll never see the pretty face of Vaugier again as "Jessica" doesn't recover from the bullet wounds.

The rest of the show is devoted, of course, to find those responsible for the abduction (Dunforth's son) and the cop-killing. We get the normal findings of evidence and then correct deductions that are about impossible to do, especially in a short period of time....but that's the CSI stories, and in this case, there are some doozies.

In all, it's a sad conclusion for the season, especially for "Flack" (Eddie Cahill) who is, of course, devastated.

Usually, there is a carryover to get us anxiously-awaiting the next season, but it appeared that was not going to be the case.....until the final seconds! Ha, ha. They always do this to us!
