After hanging on to the net for almost the entire helicopter ride with bare hands, suddenly Pietari is wearing gloves.

Rauno's hat is blown off his head after the explosion is triggered, but when they arrive at the pen, he's wearing it again.

When Pietari goes onto the porch of Juuso's house, he drags his stuffed animal on a string behind him. In the next shot, the leash is suddenly cinched up and the toy is hanging near his knee.

Even though Korvatunturi and the area in which the movie takes place are well within the Arctic Circle, there is still daylight during Christmas. At that latitude the sun sets weeks before Christmas and doesn't rise again until after New Year. However, although the sun does not rise above the horizon during this time, there is still some daylight. It is not pitch black all day and night.

Pietari and Juuso cut the hole in the fence and are blamed for wolves getting in and killing the deer but the gate is high enough off the ground to allow wolves to get in anyway.

The average temperature in Korvatunturi, Finland around Christmas is -10°C (14°F) and yet the (non-sexual) frontal nudity of Santa's elves near the end of the movie reflects no cold shrinkage.
