When Samantha and Jack's mom are looking at the book he authored and stop on a page with a tiger and cubs, the zoomed out shot shows a different page/picture.
Jack's SUV is obviously a late 80s early 90s model with older switches that he installed when he took the radio out. But yet when Samantha wants to listen to her headphones, it has a USB plug.
When Samantha goes behind the bush to relieve herself, she squats on top of a barrel cactus. Barrel cacti do not grow in the wild in North Carolina. They are native to the southwestern United States and Mexico.
In the beginning when Jack is talking to Murray and Lisa over the telephone, towards the end of the conversation Lisa tells Jack see you in Nashville. Since the movie was filmed in Charlotte, North Carolina, they are obviously not in Tennessee.
Early in the movie, Lisa says "See you in Nashville", but when Jess calls and Sam answers, she asks whether Sam is going to North Carolina with Jack. Nashville is in Tennessee. Lisa may have made a mistake and meant to say "Asheville", which is a city in North Carolina.
