- Lois Lane: If the Gazette folds, Edge wins.
- Chrissy Beppo: Sometimes there aren't winners, just losers. Lois, if I don't take this offer, I'll be underwater in a month. I don't have a choice.
- Clark Kent: Lana had an open house? When did that happen?
- Lois Lane: I don't know. Why don't you go talk to her? And can you also get light bulbs at the hardware store?
- Clark Kent: I can't. Teague Family Hardware went out of business.
- Lois Lane: What? That's the fourth local business in the last month.
- Clark Kent: I know. Smallville's really hurting. It's like Edge left this place worse than he found it.
- Lois Lane: Yeah, and it's not helping that the DOD is still here.
- Clark Kent: [hearing an ELT signal] Speaking of, it's your dad.
- Lois Lane: Did he find Edge?
- Clark Kent: No. He seems upset.
- Lois Lane: He's always upset.
- Lois Lane: I just got an earful from my dad.
- Chrissy Beppo: Oh, Lois...
- Lois Lane: It's okay. You were right to publish that article. People deserve to know why the DOD is still here.
- Chrissy Beppo: Think we'll get any answers at the town hall?
- Lois Lane: Maybe, maybe not, but there's no one I trust more than you to ask the hard questions.
- Chrissy Beppo: Wow, that's so nice and makes what I have to tell you so much worse. I got an offer to sell the Gazette.
- Lois Lane: To whom? Some billionaire?
- Chrissy Beppo: More like a multinational conglomerate, actually.
- Lois Lane: That's even worse. They don't care about the news. All they care about is the bottom line. Chrissy, they will destroy everything we've built here.
- Chrissy Beppo: I know, but what choice do I have? We're going broke. After Edge, our tiny subscriber base got even tinier.
- Lois Lane: So we build a new one.
- Chrissy Beppo: How? We're a small-town paper in a town that's literally disappearing. Even having the world's most famous reporter can't keep the doors open.
- Clark Kent: It's just not safe with Edge still out there.
- Jordan Kent: Jon and I still go to school. How is Sarah's house any less safe?
- Lois Lane: Will her parents be home?
- Jordan Kent: I guess.
- Lois Lane: You guess or you know?
- Jordan Kent: They're having another open house. I'm sure there'll be an adult somewhere.
- Clark Kent: Another open house? What?
- Lois Lane: I'm just asking 'cause you and Sarah have gotten pretty serious lately.
- Jordan Kent: Mom, please. We don't have to go over this for the billionth time.
- Clark Kent: We just wanna make sure you're making responsible choices.
- Lois Lane: Which is why I think you should take your brother with you.
- Jonathan Kent: No, no, no, I'm gonna take a pass on being chaperone. And, uh, also, I need to, you know, work on the hammer with John Henry.
- Lois Lane: You've been spending a lot of time with John Henry lately.
- Jonathan Kent: Okay, yeah, well, he's basically a genius that saved Dad's life twice. So, I mean, I think I could learn a lot from him, you know?
- Clark Kent: We're just not that comfortable with you building those kinds of weapons.
- Jonathan Kent: Okay, well, I mean, you can't have it both ways. Either Edge is a threat or he's not. I mean, I just wanna be prepared for when he shows up again.
- Clark Kent: All right, you're making too much sense. Come on. Let's go. You're excused.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Oh, hey, Clark. Jordan's out back with Sarah.
- Clark Kent: Oh, no, actually I'm just, uh, here for the open house. I'm not too late, am I?
- Lana Lang Cushing: Uh, no, of course not. Um, come right in.
- Clark Kent: Oh, thanks. Thanks.
- Lana Lang Cushing: [roleplaying a hostess] So, what brings you to Smallville?
- Clark Kent: Oh, you know, I grew up here.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Oh, you did?
- Clark Kent: Yeah. Yeah. Loved it. Really. You know, great town, better people. Met my best friend here.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Well, he must be very lucky.
- Clark Kent: Uh, she. She. And, uh, believe me, I'm the lucky one. Although it, uh, kinda feels like she's been avoiding me lately.
- Lana Lang Cushing: I know. I'm sorry, Clark. It's just, every time I see you, I'm reminded of all that I'm losing.
- Clark Kent: Maybe it's a sign you should stay.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Listen, when you left, I would've done anything to keep you here, but you needed a fresh start, and that's what we need, too.
- Clark Kent: Yeah. I was a kid then, and you've been here your whole life. And now that my mom's gone, you're the heart of Smallville. You are.
- Lana Lang Cushing: But Smallville's gone. People around here used to look out for each other. After what Edge did, that trust, gone.
- Clark Kent: So stay and help rebuild it.
- Lana Lang Cushing: I'm sorry, Clark. I really am. We've made up our minds.
- General Sam Lane: "DOD holds Smallville hostage"? You know about this?
- Lois Lane: Chrissy ran it by me last night.
- General Sam Lane: Then why didn't you kill the story?
- Lois Lane: Because she raises a lot of good questions. She's just doing her job.
- General Sam Lane: By attacking the men and women trying to protect this town? She called us an occupying force.
- Clark Kent: Yeah, that might be a little hyperbolic.
- Lois Lane: [glaring at him] The DOD has been here for a month. People wanna know when you're gonna leave.
- General Sam Lane: When I think it's safe. But I can't say that 'cause it'll cause a panic if people know that Morgan Edge is still out there. I agreed to speak at the town hall today to try to calm people's nerves. Now that's gonna be damn near impossible.
- Lois Lane: Then just be honest for once.
- General Sam Lane: Too many of those questions lead back to our family and the very secrets that keep you safe.
- Lois Lane: Is that really what this is about?
- General Sam Lane: Are you questioning my motives? Which is it, Lois? Am I protecting the world or protecting our family? 'Cause I never seem to get it right with you.
- Jonathan Kent: [seeing the bug emblem on Irons' warsuit] So, what's... what's the deal with this?
- John Henry Irons: Ah, that was, uh... that was Nat's idea. Right after we finished building the old suit.
- Jonathan Kent: Wait, she helped you build your warsuit? That's awesome.
- John Henry Irons: It's not "awesome". She was 14 years old, and her mom had just been killed on live TV.
- Jonathan Kent: [realizing his gaffe] I'm... I'm sorry. That was stupid.
- John Henry Irons: Her whole childhood was stolen in an instant. Spent the last months of her life hiding in a bunker.
- Jonathan Kent: I know.
- John Henry Irons: Then stop wasting my time. You should... you should be out with your friends being a normal kid, not in here playing war games.
- Jonathan Kent: I just... I wanted to learn from you, though.
- John Henry Irons: Well, I don't have anything else to teach you. Go bother someone else.
- Jordan Kent: So, I guess there's no way you're staying, right?
- Sarah Cushing: No, we're totally staying.
- Jordan Kent: But your parents are selling your house.
- Sarah Cushing: To who? People can't leave this town fast enough. No sane person's moving to Smallville right now.
- Jordan Kent: Not sure your mom sees it that way. She seems pretty set about leaving.
- Sarah Cushing: How'd you hear that? Well, it doesn't matter. They're being ridiculous. They actually believe that moving somewhere else will, you know, give us a fresh start. Even though they've only gotten one crappy offer on this place.
- Jordan Kent: [snickering] That's great.
- Sarah Cushing: Don't let my dad hear you say that.
- Jordan Kent: No, no, no, no, I just mean, like, it's... it's great that you guys are staying, that's all.
- Sarah Cushing: I knew what you meant.
- Sophie Cushing: [as they start to kiss] I'm telling Mom!
- Sarah Cushing: Sophie.
- [Jordan starts laughing]
- Sarah Cushing: Shut up.
- [running after her]
- Sarah Cushing: Sophie, wait.
- Jonathan Kent: [helping Irons upgrade his hammer] So, how many volts is that?
- John Henry Irons: More than you can handle.
- Jonathan Kent: I don't know. I've used it before with no problem.
- John Henry Irons: Well, it would be a problem now.
- Jonathan Kent: So, what other modifications are you making?
- John Henry Irons: [taking a part away] What did I say about asking questions?
- Jonathan Kent: Not to ask them.
- Lois Lane: [leaving the town hall] We have to get back in there.
- General Sam Lane: That's not an option.
- Lois Lane: Smallville is tearing itself apart. If we don't do something...
- General Sam Lane: Did you not hear me? Edge is out, and he's got Larr with him.
- Lois Lane: Then we need to warn the town.
- Superman: [whooshing in] He doesn't seem to be anywhere near Smallville.
- John Henry Irons: That's 'cause they got a different target. My tracker picked them up after they left the DOD. They're in Metropolis.
- Superman: Just like on your Earth.
- General Sam Lane: You two need to go, now.
- Lois Lane: Wait. On your Earth, Superman didn't act alone. He had an entire army. Does Edge really think that he and Larr can take an entire city?
- General Sam Lane: After what we saw him do when he escaped the DOD, maybe he can.
- Superman: Or maybe he just wants to hurt me. He saw my memories. He knows how much history we have in Metropolis.
- Lois Lane: Yeah, but if he just wanted to hurt you, why wouldn't he come straight to Smallville? There is a bigger picture we're not seeing. I should go with you. Can you keep the boys safe?
- General Sam Lane: I'll reach out, make sure they get back to the farm.
- Lois Lane: Do you have a location for Edge?
- John Henry Irons: [activating his helmet] Looks like he's still in Centennial Park.
- Samuel Foswell: Lois, do you know what's going on here?
- Lois Lane: We think Morgan Edge is about to attack Metropolis. Is it just the two of them?
- Samuel Foswell: As far as I can tell. Do we have to worry about more of them?
- Superman: [with his powers, seeing the energy coursing through him] I don't think that's Morgan Edge anymore.
- Lois Lane: Then who is it?
- General Sam Lane: [at the Smallville town hall] You see what kind of hornet's nest your little paper stirred up?
- Lois Lane: Then let me help.
- General Sam Lane: [pulling out a chair for her] I was hoping you'd say that.
- Sharon Powell: This is a letter from the Department of Defense signed by that man right there, and in it, he says that my son's death is under investigation.
- General Sam Lane: That's true, Mrs. Powell. We're still in the process of gathering facts about how Derek died.
- Sharon Powell: He died because of what Morgan Edge did. That is how he died! You have known for months, and you didn't bother saying anything to me.
- Lois Lane: Sharon, I know how difficult this has been for you.
- Sharon Powell: You have no idea what it's like to lose a child. The guilt a mother feels, the thinking over and over again what I could have done differently.
- Lois Lane: I'm so sorry.
- Sharon Powell: Please, tell me what Morgan Edge did to my son. I need to know the truth.
- [as a soldier whispers in Sam's ear, he surreptitiously alerts Clark, then leans over to Lois]
- General Sam Lane: My team just got a hit on Edge.
- Lois Lane: What?
- General Sam Lane: He just attacked the facility where Larr's being held. We need to go.
- Timmy Ryan: Where you been hiding, QB 2?
- Jonathan Kent: Oh! Hey, just... you know how it goes. Just catching up on some schoolwork.
- Jasper Townes: Uh, our town's under siege and you're hiding at home to study?
- Timmy Ryan: Dude, wrong answer.
- Chrissy Beppo: General Lane, can you tell us where Morgan Edge is right now?
- General Sam Lane: I'm not able to publicly comment on that at this time.
- Chrissy Beppo: Why not? People are afraid and they wanna know that they're safe.
- General Sam Lane: [shouts of agreement] Ms. Beppo, I think you've caused enough panic for one day.
- Chrissy Beppo: Can you at least tell us if Edge is in custody?
- General Sam Lane: Ms. Beppo...
- Lois Lane: No, he's not.
- General Sam Lane: Lois.
- Lois Lane: They deserve to know. Edge managed to escape a holding facility a few weeks ago. Now, since then, Superman and the DOD have been working diligently to try to track him down. But as of right now, his whereabouts are still unknown.
- Chrissy Beppo: Should we be worried that he's gonna come back here?
- General Sam Lane: I'm afraid until Morgan Edge is apprehended, there's reason for concern. But let me assure you, the DOD is doing everything we can to keep the people of Smallville safe.
- Sharon Powell: Don't anyone trust a word that man says.
- General Sam Lane: Is that Derek Powell's mother?
- Lois Lane: Yeah.
- Sharon Powell: The DOD has been lying for months. Ever since my son died.
- [holding up an envelope]
- Sharon Powell: And I have proof.
- Tamera Dalley: Thought that might be you.
- Kyle Cushing: I figured now is as good a time as any to clear out.
- Tamera Dalley: Especially since most of the guys are at the town hall right now. I got a call from the chief in Bristol asking about you.
- Kyle Cushing: Just putting some feelers out is all.
- Tamera Dalley: Yeah? 'Cause the "for sale" sign in your front lawn seems to suggest otherwise.
- Kyle Cushing: What do you want me to do, Tamera?
- Tamera Dalley: It wasn't easy when I signed up, Chief. All the looks from the other guys thinking a woman had no place at the station, never mind a Black woman. But you, you always had my back.
- Kyle Cushing: 'Cause I knew they were dead wrong about you.
- Tamera Dalley: And I was hoping we can prove 'em wrong again. I want you to know I told the chief in Bristol he'd be lucky to have you. Good luck, boss. I'm rooting for you.
- Clark Kent: Just doesn't seem right, Smallville without Lana Lang. She's a part of this town.
- Lois Lane: Maybe she has a point, though. Maybe that Smallville is gone. I mean, Chrissy has worked at the Gazette her entire life just to have it...
- [snapping]
- Lois Lane: ...vanish.
- Clark Kent: And there's nothing you can do?
- Lois Lane: Unless Superman starts robbing banks, no. She needs a miracle.
- Sarah Cushing: [after Jon and Jordan's football friends invite them to a party] How much more passive-aggressive could Sean get?
- Jonathan Kent: I don't know, I mean, maybe it's just weird 'cause you, like, dated?
- Sarah Cushing: It wasn't a problem before. Now that my parents are all "Scarlet Letter", it's like I'm Hester Prynne by association.
- Jordan Kent: We don't have to go.
- Sarah Cushing: No. It's been, like, forever since you guys have hung out, and it'll be fun brother-bonding time. Plus, the beer's, like, so crafty.
- Jordan Kent: You sure?
- Sarah Cushing: Yeah. I had promised Soph to do Princess Hair Salon, you know, 'cause of earlier.
- Kyle Cushing: Hey, babe. So, uh, I'm gonna swing by the station real quick and, uh, pack up my stuff. Should be home in time to put the ribs on.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Do you think that we're making a mistake?
- Kyle Cushing: What, eating baby backs?
- Lana Lang Cushing: Leaving Smallville? I mean, do you think we're giving up too easily?
- Kyle Cushing: Is that what Clark said?
- Lana Lang Cushing: I just... I don't want us to rush into a decision that we're gonna regret later.
- Kyle Cushing: I don't think we have much of a choice. Folks 'round here kind of forced our hand.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Not everybody's out to get us, Kyle.
- Kyle Cushing: All right, look, I am very appreciative of everything that the Kents have done for us. They've been solid, but, Lana, their friendship isn't gonna put food on the table.
- Lana Lang Cushing: I know. It's just hard.
- Kyle Cushing: Yeah, I know. But, hey, as long as I got you, doesn't matter where we live. Okay, so, you and me, we... we can make any place home, all right?
- John Henry Irons: I thought the Eradicator machine was destroyed.
- Superman: It was. This is something else. Keep an eye on Edge.
- [as he flies away, Leslie whooshes forward and knocks Irons backward]
- A.I. Device: Beware of Leslie Larr.
- John Henry Irons: Telling me after doesn't help.
- Leslie Larr: Your friend has no part in this, Kal-El.
- Superman: Why are you here?
- Leslie Larr: We thought it poetic that the city you championed be the first to fall.
- Superman: We're not giving up the city, and you know you can't take it alone. The Eradicator is gone. Your subjekts are gone. Tal-Rho, no one else needs to get hurt.
- Leslie Larr: There is no Tal-Rho anymore.
- A.I. Device: John, picking up four new Kryptonian signatures in the park.
- John Henry Irons: We got company.
- [the crowd gasps as four civilians float into the air]
- Tal-Rho: [in Kryptonian] Go! And bring this city to its knees!
- Lois Lane: It seems Edge has the ability to give people powers and take over their minds...
- Kyle Cushing: [watching on TV] Lana, are you seeing this?
- Lois Lane: ...which is why it's very important for everyone in Metropolis to find a safe place to take cover until Edge is either apprehended or taken out. Superman is working to stop Edge and all of the people he has infected.
- Jordan Kent: [watching on TV, too, seeing Leslie appear behind her] Jon.
- Jonathan Kent: [remembering the video of John Irons' Lois] This is how she died.
- Tegan Wickhem: So, I feel like maybe you got the wrong impression of me out by the water tower.
- Jonathan Kent: No, I don't... I don't really think I did, to be honest.
- Tegan Wickhem: Okay, okay. You know what? I was fishing for answers, which sucks, and I'm really sorry. But I actually did want to hang out with you. Those things don't have to be mutually exclusive.
- Jonathan Kent: Right, because when I asked you out before, I mean, you made it pretty clear that I was just a charity case.
- Tegan Wickhem: No. You know, somehow I've become the queen of mixed messages.
- Jonathan Kent: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I was kind of warned about you.
- Tegan Wickhem: Of course you were. You know, ever since I moved here, people act like I think I'm better than this place.
- Jonathan Kent: Wait, you moved here? From where?
- Tegan Wickhem: Central City, two years ago. My dad, um, well, he was sort of sent to prison. My mom and I decided we needed a fresh start.
- Jonathan Kent: I... I didn't know that.
- Tegan Wickhem: It's not really something I tell most people. But then people make assumptions, think I'm, like, some sort of standoffish bitch.
- Jonathan Kent: Well, I'm-I'm... I'm sorry about that. I know it's not easy coming to a new place and starting over, you know?
- Tegan Wickhem: I know. That's kind of why I was smiling at you all the time. I felt like I could relate to what you were going through.
- Jonathan Kent: I guess that makes sense.
- Tegan Wickhem: So, if that means we're cool, then about you let me show you around, new guy?
- Jonathan Kent: Yeah, okay, but maybe skip the water tower this time?
- Tegan Wickhem: [laughing] Really?
- Jonathan Kent: Yeah.
- Tegan Wickhem: Because, you know, that's really it. There really isn't much to see around here.
- Jonathan Kent: Kinda figured.
- Jordan Kent: What's going on?
- Sarah Cushing: My dad got a job offer in Bristol. I think we're gonna have to move.
- Jordan Kent: I thought you said that wasn't possible.
- Denise Olowe: [on her phone, then turning on the TV] Hey, hey, everyone, quiet down. Something's happening in Metropolis.
- Kyle Cushing: So, uh, girls, we, um, we have some news.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Uh, your dad just got a job offer.
- Sarah Cushing: Doing what?
- Kyle Cushing: Still fighting fires, just... just in a different city.
- Lana Lang Cushing: The job's in Bristol County.
- Sarah Cushing: That's, like, two hours away.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Which is why we're gonna have to move to make it work.
- Sarah Cushing: But I thought you said that the offer on the house was super low.
- Kyle Cushing: It was, but look, Sarah, this... this is a great opportunity. Their fire chief is gettin' ready to retire, which means I can just step right on in and... and help with the transition.
- Sarah Cushing: Do you even hear yourself? After all you said about people abandoning Smallville, the minute it gets hard, you guys are gonna run?
- Kyle Cushing: Come on, Sarah. That's not fair.
- Sarah Cushing: You're so full of crap.
- Kyle Cushing: Hey.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Honey, is this about Jordan?
- Sarah Cushing: No. No. It's about the fact that my parents are lying hypocrites.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Hey, this isn't easy for anyone.
- Kyle Cushing: Look, we are just simply trying to do what's best for our family.
- Sarah Cushing: Maybe you're not qualified to make that decision. I mean, it was you who kissed Morgan Edge's ass to come here in the first place.
- Lana Lang Cushing: Hey, do not blame your father for any of this.
- Sarah Cushing: I blame you, too!
- [leaving]
- Sarah Cushing: You guys are so freaking stupid.
- Jordan Kent: [at a party, his phone rings] It's Granddad.
- Jonathan Kent: Don't answer.
- Jordan Kent: What if something's up?
- Jonathan Kent: Then he'll call back.
- Jordan Kent: I... I don't know. He never calls.
- Jonathan Kent: Just be a normal kid for, like, an hour. Okay? I got the ELT. If anything serious happens, I'll call Dad.
- Jordan Kent: Since when did you become Mr. Party Guy? Shouldn't you be building rocket launchers with John Henry or something?
- Jonathan Kent: It's a missile launcher, and, um, I wanna beat Wellnitz at Flip Cup.
- Lois Lane: [as Edge begins an attack on Metropolis] Any chance you got a camera we can go live with?
- Samuel Foswell: It's back at GBS with Janet. She went up to the roof to get a clear shot of the action.
- Lana Lang Cushing: How did it go at the station?
- Kyle Cushing: Um... well, I was... I was talking to Tamera, and, uh, she got me thinking that, I don't know, maybe you're right. You know, maybe... maybe this isn't the right call.
- Lana Lang Cushing: I mean, we've built so much here. It's scary to think of walking away from all this.
- Davis Windell: [Irons throws his hammer at him] You missed.
- [as Leslie prepares to fire her heat vision at Lois, the hammer strikes her, then doubles back and takes Davis out]
- John Henry Irons: Larr's down, and I got another one. I'll never miss.
- Janet: Lois, do you have any idea what this is all about?
- Lois Lane: Yeah. Short version, Morgan Edge is taking over people's bodies and using them to destroy Metropolis.
- Janet: Well, that's incredibly terrifying.
- Lois Lane: Janet, we need to tell people what's going on.
- Janet: Okay. And it's probably best coming from you. There's a mic in my press kit.
- General Sam Lane: There's a pistol in the glove compartment loaded with kryptonite. I need one of you boys to come up here and get it.
- Jonathan Kent: [climbing into the front seat] Okay.
- Jordan Kent: Jon, your arm.
- Jonathan Kent: My left is just as good.
- General Sam Lane: Now, I need you to take the shot. Do you have any experience shooting?
- Jonathan Kent: A little, with John Henry.
- General Sam Lane: That's good. I want you to get Edge in your sights.
- Jonathan Kent: [taking aim] Okay.
- General Sam Lane: Cock the gun.
- Jonathan Kent: [cocking the hammer] Okay. He's just standing there.
- General Sam Lane: Okay. Try to keep your hand steady. You're only gonna get one shot at this.
- Jonathan Kent: Okay.
- General Sam Lane: Once you got him, pull the trigger.
- [as Jon takes the shot, Edge flies away]
- General Sam Lane: Did you get him? You get him?
- Jonathan Kent: I don't know. He just... he flew away.
- Sarah Cushing: Flew away where?
- [the car door is yanked off and Jordan is pulled out]
- Sarah Cushing: Jordan!
- Jonathan Kent: Jordan!
- Jordan Kent: [weakly, to Sarah as she gets out] I love you.
- Jordan Kent: Please. We can make this work.
- Sarah Cushing: We can talk about this later, maybe when your mom didn't almost just get killed?
- Jordan Kent: No, that makes this more important. I... I-I don't want to lose you.
- Sarah Cushing: I don't, either. I just don't know how we're gonna make it work. We'd never see each other.
- Jordan Kent: We can call. We... we can text. We can video chat.
- Sarah Cushing: That's what your brother did with Eliza. The second that he moved, she totally bailed.
- Jordan Kent: But they're not us.
- Sarah Cushing: Yeah, and I like us, but I'm just scared if we do distance, we'll start to hate us, okay?
- General Sam Lane: [coming in] Where the hell are my grandsons?
- Jonathan Kent: Hey, Grandpa. We were... I was just about to call you.
- General Sam Lane: Both of you, in the car, now.
- Superman: Jonathan, what happened? Are you okay?
- Jonathan Kent: Edge took Jordan.
- Superman: What?
- Jonathan Kent: You need to find him! Go!
- Superman: How was Edge able to use the Eradicator?
- Leslie Larr: Always one step behind, Kal-El.
- Superman: When Edge was speaking earlier, it sounded like...
- John Henry Irons: A whole bunch of voices.
- Lois Lane: Maybe that's why you never found the Eradicator.
- John Henry Irons: Because, what, Edge somehow made himself the Eradicator? I mean, is that even possible?
- Lois Lane: It would explain his new powers.
- Superman: And the four new subjekts.
- Lois Lane: Okay, so let's say Edge can make subjekts. Where would he go next?
- Leslie Larr: Isn't it obvious? To make more.
- Sarah Cushing: The car hit Edge and he didn't even move.
- Jordan Kent: Jon, do you have your ELT?
- Jonathan Kent: It got knocked out of my hand when we crashed.
- Sarah Cushing: What are you guys talking about?
- Lois Lane: What happened? Where are the boys?
- [getting scared]
- Lois Lane: Where are the boys?
- Superman: Edge took Jordan.
- Lois Lane: No.
- Superman: I tried following him. It was too late.
- Lois Lane: No, go find him.
- Superman: Lois, Lois, I looked everywhere. He's gone. He's gone.
- Lois Lane: [sobbing into his shoulder] What are we gonna do?
- Superman: I don't know. I just... I don't know.
- Jonathan Kent: [Sam has collected him and Jordan from a party] So, how'd you find us?
- General Sam Lane: I run the DOD. You think I can't track down my own grandsons?
- Superman: Who's left?
- John Henry Irons: [indicating Edge] Just Chuckles over there. Let's finish this.
- General Sam Lane: [as they fly up to Edge, they're knocked backward] What the hell just happened?
- Superman: I don't know. I've never seen anything like that.
- John Henry Irons: We didn't even touch him.
- Superman: [seeing Edge has disappeared] He's gone.
