Great beginning, slow to end.

Warning: Spoilers
It started out really well and the acting was good. I watched it because of Jung il Woo. I personally favored the little kid, who played his son, his acting ability. He's got a lot of potential star power. Can't wait to see what he's in next. The script was good but from the middle to the end it was dragged out. It created a lot of frustration and I wanted it to wrap up quickly. So much back and forth and the finale was so dull and sudden. There was also no romance. At least not in the traditional sense. It was little to no physical contact beyond a hug between the two main characters. This left me quite disappointed. But hey, it's based on my personal expectations. Overall I gave it a 7 instead of the predicted 9 I was hoping to give.

I really like the story 😍😊👍 Two thumbs up for Jung Il Woo and Kwon Yuri 👍👍 The plot is unpredictable and the story gets better as weeks pass by.. I hope this drama has a happy ending for Princess Hwa In, Kim Dae Seok and Lee Dae Yeop 🙏🙏

The dialogue alone makes this series
The story is ok but the characters are superb Especially the dialogue between the father & son Its a drama with a flair of romance but also very funny. I enjoyed the exchanges between most of the characters. Great writing. I found myself rewinding certain scenes just yo laugh again.

Should be better

It starts in a good way . The first half of episodes manage to keep your attention and your interest to see what's next. The main leads have great chemistry. Even their eyes can express what they feel in every scene . The supporting cast have done great job ,too. I would like to see more of the main couple moments rather than king's nonsense.

To my mind, the second half lacked of plot. Writers decide to "recycle" again and again the same parts. Things happen with no reason. The main leads had also only a few moments together. 20 episodes were too much and gradually it lost any interest. The last episode didnt' leave us a good impression.

Fell off

Good enough but misses the mark and fails to maintain its momentum with the 2nd half being a significant downgrade to what we were presented earlier. By then, it seems even the cast got smaller including the extras in the background. There weren't as many people in towns or the palace anymore. The ML's kid was barely seen too. Possible budget cuts? The lengthy 20 episodes didn't help its case either. Even if we were to tolerate the downgrade, it's impossible for this drama to leave us with a good impression when every single scene of the last episode was laughably and shamelessly bad. Having two writers might explain why the drama ended up like that.
