Social wrath for such a beautiful, so wonderful world...
searchanddestroy-14 March 2015
I only discover this french TV series now, after five years. A sort of Ken Loach kind without the humour touch. It takes place in the north of France, in a factory where the head executives decide to fire more than one hundred employees and, later, close the whole factory. I thought of Resources HUMAINES, TROIS HUIT or LA MER A BOIRE. It is a Factory on Strike movie kind. Everything about this scheme is told here. An accurate study of how proceed the french big companies, large companies, lead by international executives, those bastards who don't care of human destruction, those bastards who only focus on amassing money. Of course, we don't avoid clichés: ruthless executives, desperate employees who fight day after day to survive in this mad world. You have here poignant scenes, gripping sequences. The ending is really worth watching. Terrific performances all long this tremendous TV show. I highly recommend it. You couldn't avoid Marc Barbé in this feature, as one of the tough guys fighting desperately to survive.
