Bravo Brian exceeded my expectations

Good movie had suspense, drama, and action all in one I also like the story from a men's perspective. Don't see too many movies where a man has trust issues, and has been scarred by them. But he's willing to open his heart again only to be cheated on again! Just like the first relationship, was caught both of them in the shower his best friend and his girlfriend now that's messed up! ( first relationship) not gonna give away much more.. I didn't like how it ended I wanted to see how that twist in the end played out. But overall I enjoyed the movie and the very kind thing he did for a old friend who was homeless great job Brian Hooks.

First, of all let me say wow what a movie opener. When I saw the movie open with Brian Hooks and his wife I had a feeling based on their dynamic and actual relationships where men are the providers they are getting cheated on. When we discover his wife is actually cheating on him with someone. I had a similar response when watching the movie and even so, amped up what I would have done if I walked in on something like that. We shortly discover that she was having an affair with his best friend. The acting in this movie is good and nothing seems over exaggerated. It was wild Evelyn used to be a thief and witnessed someone die. This movie definitely did not try to speed past their sex scene. The movie in my opinion also took a while to pick up. Also at times the soundtrack music seemed wrong for the moment. WOW What an ending to discover! I loved the hell out of this ending.

Pleasantly surprised

I knew this was an independent film so I was not expecting the good acting, sound, cinematography and soundtrack that I saw. It was a beautiful love story ala Jason's Lyric, Love Jones , etc. With an unpredictable twist. It didn't look like any independent movie I'd seen before (and I watch alot). The movie is on the Tubi App which is free of charge. The director/actor Brian Hooks is saying there will be a part II (which is hard for me to believe with it's ending) but then again it ended in a way that it's possible. Bravo...Bravo to actor, director, writer Brian Hooks on a job well done.......
