Kuru has doubts about the Princess 'dating' Marcus and reminds Alex of her reluctance to tell him about her true identity. Following a magic practise session, Alex discovers the 'time-slip' rune. Alex puts the symbol to good use when her preparations for the date come unstuck with chocolate milkshakes and green face-masks. Then, when things go wrong on her date, she uses "time-slip" magic to turn back time to make each moment perfect. Meanwhile in Manjipoor, Vashan tries to ingratiate himself with Anala, to be able to travel to Alex's world. At the conclusion of the date, Alex eventually decides to tell Marcus the truth about her - but there's a price to pay for both Alex and Vashan.
