The Great Bear (2011)

Goofs

The Great Bear

Edit

Continuity

The hunter applies leaves to the wound on Jonathan's wrist as a bandage after saving him from the big pit. In the shot immediately after Jonathan looks at it confusedly, it's gone, as well as the wound.
The bear doesn't eat anything in the film but it has enough energy to move.
The Bear goes through the trees, although this is a low budget film.

Revealing mistakes

Sophie jumps off of the bear, which was a very high fall but she's alive after the fall.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

Every time a character speaks, their mouth movements don't match the words they're saying, although it was originally made in Danish.
The English dub matches some of the mouthing, despite the fact the film was made in Danish.

Errors in geography

In the great forest some of the trees aren't straight, there horizontal and why did they put a forest on the bear when it barely camouflages in the movie.

Plot holes

The Grandpa does nothing to help Jonathan and Sophie's adventure, he could've easily helped them or called the cops. But instead he rebuilt the treehouse.

Character error

Jonathan is big brother who hates his sister and scares her by telling her Mr bear stories even though he gets afraid of the bear.
Sophie is 6 years old, she's not afraid of the giant bear, despite Jonathan scaring her about it.
