Skateboarding Pittsburg girl Carrie (Tammin Sursok) is forced to move in with her estranged father Hank McLaughlin (Patrick Warburton) on his Wyoming range. Her mother died 7 years ago and her delusional grandma guardian has to go into a home. The only friend she makes is the wild horse Flicka. She falls for young handsome range hand Jake (Reilly Dolman). Toby (Clint Black) manages the horses on the farm. Amy Walker (Emily Tennant) is the arrogant neighbor who also has a crush on Jake.
This is a sequel to a relatively unseen family film. It made some money after its lackluster theatrical run which allowed the producers to make this straight to video sequel. Nobody is back from the original except the character of Flicka. I'm guessing it's not the same horse (Safe guess). The lead girl is fine. Warburton without his humor is fine. Everything is fine if all you want is family viewing with horses. There is nothing offensive. It's a safe and bland watch.
