First feature length for Lumbfilm Productions. Previously they had only made short films and sketches.
The character Eric Talbot was named after Talbot Rothwell, who wrote several of the "Carry on" films. The writers are huge fans of his work.
Total production fund was a low budget of £625, this was achieved by getting everyone to work for on screen credits. The film and editing equipment was already owned by Lumbfilm productions, hence this was not included in the production budget although tape stock and lighting was. The production fund was raised by a monthly comedy show, The Discount Comedy Checkout which the principal cast members of the film perform in.
Filming took a total of 36 days spread over February - September 2009.
First day of filming was a shot which wasn't in the original script. Due to a snow storm it was decided to put an extra scene in the montage sequence, taking advantage of the weather.
