Factual errors

The Public Affairs Officer commenting on the launch calls out 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, zero, ignition. However the Saturn V ignition sequence begins at T-8.9 seconds, leading up to liftoff when the count reaches zero.
The epilogue text states that Jane Conrad remarried and lives in west Texas. While people who are unfamiliar with maps and overly familiar with cowboy movies might think that San Antonio is in west Texas, it is actually in south Texas, about 50 miles south of Austin and just east of the geographic center of the state. The museum associated with Jane (Conrad) Dreyfus is the McNay Art Museum, where she once worked as a volunteer guide (a "docent").

Errors in geography

Barbara Young is shown watching the launch of Apollo 16 from the parking lot of the Parliament House hotel. It is depicted as being just a few miles east of the pad. The Parliament House is actually ~50 miles east in Orlando.
