I talk about the Show and what I think about it and why you should watch it as well Warning: Spoilers
There is so many religions that I didn't know about in this world, and this is a great way to see them all. We see some weird and interesting religions with strange rituals and that makes this such an interesting show. It talks about both big and small religions, sects and cults. One quote that describes this whole show is when Pete Owen-Jones said that "I want to take the religious pulse of this world" and he did just that. Mr. Jones also asks very good questions that not only get the people that he is interviewing thinking. But also you start wondering about the questions as well which I thought was very good. Some of the religions really amazed me and if you want to be amazed this is the right place to look. For example in the Australasian episode there is a part about Baby Smoking. They put leaves on top a fire and place the baby on top of the leaves for a few seconds at most. This was absolutely mind- blowing. It was amazing. They said it was to make the baby strong. Another faith that I found interesting was Urban Witchcraft. That's right Urban Witchcraft. Sometimes we also get to see the great turmoil within Mr. Jones. He himself is Christian so when he has to take part in other practices he is really hesitant. This makes for a great story line which was very good. We also can learn from Mr. Jones experiences about the different Faiths in this world. Overall this was great and I highly Recommend it.
