I Don't Want to Walk Without You is another entertaining Soundie I found on YouTube
Just watched this Soundie on YouTube. Taking place in a college dorm where the students are being lectured by someone informing them of their future, Kay Lorraine is then singing to a male dancing partner the title song. During the instrumental break, an African-American waiter serving drinks comes in and does his dance without breaking a single thing! Also, Ms. Lorraine's partner also sings a verse. This was another of those '40s "music videos" that played on various Panorams (jukeboxs with pictures that was displayed in various restaurants, bars, and train or bus stations) around the country. This was another entertaining short musical film from the era I just mentioned. So on that note, I Don't Want to Walk Without You is worth a look for anyone interested in this sort of thing.
