- Wanting to know if Marcus is in love with her, Alex does magic and accidentally becomes a frog. To restore her to humanity, Kuru, Amanda and J.B. need to get Alex kissed by her one true love.
- Despite Kuru's warning that love and magic don't mix, Alex tricks him to tell her a spell to prove if Marcus, who asked her on a band date, loves her. It turns her into a frog, which can only be undone by a kiss from a true lover. Kuru, JB and Amanda now try to look after the frog until they can get her kissed by most unwilling Marcus, who seems to loose patience with his missing date. When all seems lost, Kuru's devotion proves decisive.—KGF Vissers
- To find out if Marcus is in love with her, Alex uses magic and accidentally turns herself into a frog. To return to normal, Alex must be kissed by her one and only true love, but Alex and her friends think it's Marcus and her friends have a hard time convincing Marcus to kiss Alex (a slimy green frog). At the end Kuru kisses Alex and she returns to normal; that means Kuru is her one and only true love.
- When Marcus asks her to a gig, Alex wonders if he is in love with her. She casts a spell and accidentally turns herself into a frog. With tiny frog arms and legs, there doesn't appear to be an easy way for Alex to gesture and undo it. After she is nearly washed away in a sewer, Kuru discreetly seeks a solution in Manjipoor. To restore her to humanity Alex must be kissed by her one "true love". But despite Amanda, J.B. and Kuru's best efforts, Marcus doesn't appear to be willing to kiss a slimy, green frog. Soon after Alex is nearly anaesthetised in Science Class for amphibian dissection. Not only is she going to miss her date, she mightn't even survive. It appears the only way for Alex to be normal again is to tell Marcus the truth - until Kuru discovers a startling solution.
