Melvyn Bragg refers to the Count of Anjou, later King Henry II, as the grandson of William the Conqueror, when he was in fact his great grandson, Henry being the son of Queen Mathilda, who was the daughter of King Henry the First, himself the fourth son of the Conqueror.
