A solid continuation.

Another murder, and a leak in the team, DI Chandler has his work cut out for him, he's a little to quick to blame Miles, just because he's a little rough around the edges, Chandler is a little presumptuous.

Maybe not as slick as the first episode, but still a very good episode, and a fine progression. Less grizzly than the first.

Good story, are they a little guilty of perhaps trying to shoehorn the Ripper references in?

Phil Davies is stealing the show, but right now I'm interested in Pemberton's character.

Overzealous Incompetence
Hitchcoc18 April 2018
Chandler continues to try to depend on his men, including his chief sergeant. This guy jumps to conclusions. He is always spouting about his twenty years on the force. But, once again, he doesn't consider all the implications of his decisions. Buchan is locked up because of his insight and his competence. He has predicted the next murder and, since one of the officers blew the theories to the press, the effort to capture the killer are messed up are messed up. There is also a military man who has beaten women in the past and it is decided hat he's the guy. So off they go like keystone cops. One thing I would question about this series is the pace. There is too much action and not enough thought. Chandler has a lot to learn.
