Father and daughter, patient and nurse
JordanThomasHall13 August 2020
Natalie warns the kids to be on their best behavior, as Martin is returning from a difficult day battling circulation numbers with a rival newspaper. The family kills with kindness. Meanwhile, Patty has been given a candy stripper (nurses' aid) job at the hospital. Patty is excited when Martin trips over Ross' skateboard and tends to his sprained ankle. Dr. Fenneman (Stanley Farrar) tells Natalie that Martin must get rest and uses the ankle to get him to the hospital for a complete checkup. It will also be Patty's first day at the hospital. She quickly makes a mess for her father as his nurse. She soon comes across a colorful character- Prof. Schroeder (Mickey Deems), a space scientist with an upcoming book of how to colonize the moon. Martin's boss T. J. phones him that the professor just checked into the hospital and getting rights to a serialization of his book would be the boom the paper needs. T.J. instructs Martin to make the deal however necessary. His biggest obstacle seems to be his own daughter, but could also be his key.

Predictable, yet without a clear resolution or enough comedy to cover it over.
