Dirty Jobs used my suggestion - Locomotive Builder

Warning: Spoilers
I finally watched this episode that was filmed in Boise, Idaho during 2009. I suggested that Mike could clean the inside of locomotive engines as they were overhauled. It totally surprised me to watch and was impressed by the entire production.

During the show you will watch how they start with raw steel and cut it into pieces for a new locomotive. They build all sizes and can repair and test on-site. There is a large area for manufacturing and Mike takes the controls of the overhead cranes lifting pieces that weigh as much as 23,000 pounds.

He then leaves the building area and heads to the engine rebuilding area about a mile away called the annex. Inside they disassemble broken or worn out engines and overhaul them for another life. The engine cleaning is very toxic and Mike handles the process like a pro. I loved the fork-lift driving portion as he helped clean a large part from the plasma cutter.

Thanks Discovery...great show.
