Episode 5 is great, you really delve into Freddy's personal problems, he's not quite the chilled out stoner he appeared. His relationship with his family is poor and he's also having trouble with his friends too. Freddie begins to bond with Effy and tries his hardest to win her over. Again this one features some really nice cinematography, lighting, use of shadow and colour, music. Freddie struggles to step out from the shadow of Cook, he usually likes to smoke weed in his shed and skate when he's troubled. In this episode though he tries to deal with more directly with Effy, hoping to win her over. Freddie comes across as incredibly relatable, his nice guy laid back approach though just leads to him being walked over. Effy warns him she'll break his heart and by the end she's proven right.

This was the best episode of the series. Made me cry. TV at its best. Freddie is the best character sketched out in this series and I just loved the way the actor played his character. He is totally into character.
Although all episodes of this series are top notch and I love British series a lot, i usually hate their American adoptions.
There were only few episodes of this series that I did not like. But most of the episodes were awesome and I loved them.
This is a highly recommended series for all out there who are interested in watching fun teenager stories. A must watch. British Television at its best.

Freddie, Sister's Sexxbomb Competition and Cook

Freddie's sister named Karen watches herself again on the Sexxbomb competition. It is dancing in lingerie and singing a sexy song. She looks quite innocent without the glam look.
Karen asks if she looks sexy and Freddie cries she is his sister. Their dad makes Freddie tell her she looks sexy.
Outside Effy sits on a bench in a top with slits at the sides showing off her lace black bra. Effy claims to be here to see the shed.
Inside the shed it is a guys' hangout spot. Effy sits delicately on a chair. Cook and JJ come. Cook looks pleased to see a girl until Effy says she knows where his penis has been. Cook says if she is not shagging (having sex) with any of them to just leave. He treats her like an object.
Freddie goes to look for Effy at her home and her mother directs him to the waterpark. There Effie has stripped to her black and white striped panties with a bow and tank top, lying on a raft in the waters. Freddie takes off his top and swims to her and she dives in to meet him. They have a hot kiss in the water with Effy's hair looking wet and perfect.
Freddie gets angry when JJ accidentally slips that Cook had sex with Karen. Freddie goes to the shed-turned-to-studio where Karen is practicing for finals. He asks what she was thinking when she had sex with his best friend. He must have been good. He calls her a bad word that means she sleeps around too much.
At the finals Karen sings a song about butts. Freddie sits at a table with dad. The crowd enjoys it. She wears pink lingerie and Freddie enjoys the lingerie dancers.
