Not just moral ambiguity but distortion of the law

Warning: Spoilers
Even a simple internet search shows that no contract takes precedence over criminal acts. So they are stretching things there.

Then there are the drug abuse issues and the brief mention of suicide in the previous episode.

The writers can't seem to resist throwing out these presumed gray areas to cause the DuBois family more grief. They have taken a good show with some quirky humor and turned it into a morbid commentary on social issues with gruesome murder and torture thrown in at various times.

Caitlyn's last diatribe to Allison is another legal joke. Never hold up if Allison challenged it. Somehow her comeback was equally lame.
