- Mantra goes public with her campaign. Zarina is on the verge of true power, only to be challenged by an unexpected contender at the last minute. The Indian team resents its new rookie.
- Vikrant knows that Zarina is the next in line to be the ICB President after Yash. Pakistan team arrives in India after 13 yrs. They are led by captain Sultan Ali Khan (Sunny Hinduja). Vice Captain Yasir Ali (Nikhil Sangha). Spinner Baber (Bhavya Attrey). Azeem Khan (Ankur Vikal) is the coach of the Indian Cricket team Sultan talks to Vayu about a match in Sharjah where Vijay Subramaniam was playing. Sultan was 9 yrs old back then. Azeem changes the subject. Sultan wants Pakistani players to play in the PPL.
Rohini sends her analysis of the Indian Cricket Team to Azeem, but Azeem is not super supportive of her methods. He says that every situation in Cricket is unique and data only goes so far. Rohini tries to talk to Azeem about Vijay Subramaniam. Azeem played on the same team. Rohini asks that Vijay's death was mysterious. He died in a plane crash the same day he was supposed to have a press conference. Azeem only says he was caught red handed. He saw the bundles of money in Vijay's locker. Rohini says maybe he was killed as he was going to expose everyone else in the fixing game. Azeem says Vijay wasn't that important that a whole plane would be crashed for him.
Yash tells Pritish that after ICB he plans to retire in Amsterdam where he owns some land. He is joking. Yash talks about how his dad ran the Govt for 20 yrs without ever being a part of it. Yash knows that Zarina has betrayed him and that Vikrant thinks he controls Zarina. Pritish approaches Ayesha with a role as President of Mumbai Cricket Association. With this she will be his nominee for the post of ICB President. Ayesha will be Yash's proxy at the ICB. The 2 camps get into a huddle to try and get the required votes by any means possible. They bribe, Zarina dances at weddings, favors are called in, people are blackmailed with sex videos. Both need 16 votes to win. Ishaan Chawla is the President of the UP cricket association. Nick Chawla is his son and a Magsaysay award winner. Pritish tries to bribe Ishaan and is rebuffed. Vikrant figures out that Nick gets funds from a NGO every 3 months. The NGO is run by Ishaan. Almost 50 crores have been paid to Nick in the last few yrs. Vikrant blackmails Vikrant with this info and gets his vote
The J&J Cricket Association President Ghulam Akbar is met by Yash. He is the leader of the opposition party in Kashmir. He wants his son to play for India in the upcoming India-Pakistan test series. Yash includes the son in the team, who turns out to be Imaad Akbar. Imaad is razzed by the rest of the team since he came from nowhere and has no first class cricket experience. Nobody will even practice with Imaad in the nets. Vayu decides to give him a chance. Imaad beats Vayu's bat several times before clean bowling him.
Rohini confronts Imaad that he doesn't deserve to be in the team. Imaad admits that his dad arranged this, but he cant throw away an opportunity of an India cap and to play in a test series. Imaad knows that he will be vilified if he plays badly. and he will never get another chance. Mantra appears for an Interviewer with Girish, but turns out that he had arranged for a debate with Ripun Chatterjee, who runs an NGO dealing with gambling addiction. Mantra debates in favor of legalizing betting. This will lead to more tax revenue. There was a law commission report recommending the legalization of sports betting in India. Ripun argues that gambling addiction affects poor the most. Gambling destroys homes and leads to suicides. Ripun also argues that legalization of betting will not eradicate match fixing. Corruption will exist if men are involved. Ripun doesn't allow Mantra to land her points and shuts her out of the debate.
The last undecided vote is Basu, Cricket Association President for Bengal, and Yash's nemesis. Yash & Vikrant meet Basu in person, separately. Basu says his vote is for sale, but he wants the commissioner-ship of PPL in exchange. Vikrant refuses saying PPL belongs to him alone. Vikrant offers the chairmanship of ICE. Yash offers the PPL, but no chairmanship of ICB. Basu agrees to vote for Yash. On the day of the election, Ayesha gets 15 votes as Basu votes for Ayesha. Zarina gets 15 votes as well. In the tie-breaker, the interim President Basu gets the deciding vote. Basu votes for Zarina in the tie-breaker. Turns out Sudha had convinced Vikrant to offer Basu both the PPL and the Chairmanship of the ICE. She reminds Vikrant that his goal is not to control cricket, but to destroy Yash.
Zarina is happy. She remembers the time when she was 17 and was auditioning for a producer, who basically wanted to rape her. Zarina's mom wanted to take her away, but Zarina was adamant that she would have fame, money and glamour. No matter what the costs. She willingly returns to the producer to have sex with him. 6 hrs to go for the first test and 3 men enter the stadium with an intention to destroy the pitch
