• Patrick Jane : [Lisbon kicks him as he dozes on the couch]  What?

  Teresa Lisbon : You know damn well what. You assaulted a man.

  Patrick Jane : No, I just tweaked him on the nose.

  Teresa Lisbon : Technically, that's assault.

  Patrick Jane : Technically, he's an ass. He deserved it.

  Teresa Lisbon : Yes, he is, but this is not a schoolyard. You simply cannot do stuff like that.

  Patrick Jane : I did. I did it. And the seas didn't boil and the sky didn't fall.
