| Trivia | The Honey Killer is a low-budget feature film that was finally released in April 2018 on Amazon Prime and within 10 months became one of the most pirated films on the internet, going viral in nine different languages, going on to become an underground world wide hit. It was inspired by Robert Rodriguez, El Mariachi and his book Rebel Without a Crew. The movie was made with a skeleton crew of six people, with the cast and crew coordinating their own stunts and location work. It was shot in 19 days on the west coast of Portugal and in and around Gaucin, Montejaque and Ronda in Andalucia, Spain.
