Outstanding short film!

This as an outstanding short documentary that flowed by w/ ease. Extremely well shot and edited w/ very fast pacing. The Starck Club was by all accounts quite a place. the beginning of ecstasy, the epicenter of 80's dance music, Philippe's Starck's amazing design. And, of course a place where gay, straight, bi, latino, black, white no matter who you were you were a 'somebody' at Starck. im glad they made this into a longer film. It deserved it. Bravo. it def made me want to go in on the fun no doubt. there could be a whole section on the no dance policy too very bizarre story. there was so much good to say about this film. highly recommend.

still chuckling about the 'beekeepers' hat:) LOL

It was ok...

The story itself was fascinating, but what caused the low rating was the editing of the film. Within the first 5 minutes you hear the word "Dallas" about 80 times. The way the interviews were set up rather than focusing on one person saying something informative about the club, it was followed by 5 more people directly after them repeating the same thing over and over. That's the difference between the Studio 54 documentary that made it stand out more. They both have similar legacies, but the storytelling flew better with Studio 54.
