Created at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts Summer Program. The program is open to high school students, and thus writer/director David Harris could attend.
A technical error on set forced the cast and crew to reshoot half of the film. All scenes including Mimi and The Suit were shot during a reshoot.
Alan Myerson, Emmy-nominated director, served as the professor of the class and the film main advisor. Notable influences of his on the film include Jimmy tying his shoe at the beginning of the film so there could be a dramatic reveal of Mr. Kurn's height.
