Handlung
WUSSTEST DU SCHON:
- WissenswertesAlthough she plays a high-school student, Christina Milian was actually 27 years old during this film's production.
- PatzerCatalina says she's Cuban-American, but she uses words or slang that are not Cuban at all. For example, she says "SOIS familia" which is, in Spanish, the second-person plural that is only used by people from Spain. Cubans would have said "SON familia" meaning "YOU are family." She also says "Orale," which is a common interjection in Mexican slang only.
- Zitate
Catalina 'Lina' Cruz: This is Sea Lion territory. Don't ever shake your conceited Jag butt over here again!
Avery: Excuse me. Then who's supposed to show your school what a real squad looks like?
Kayla: Not this mariachi band.
Treyvonetta: [aggressively] You're so lucky I found Jesus.
Gloria: [pulls the antagonists apart] Hey, hey, hey...!
Treyvonetta: I didn't use my hands!
Gloria: All right! But you can't *fight* girls like this. They press charges.
Avery: Right. Run away.

The thing that bugged me the most, and bugged me in past movies too, was the cheering. They go to these competitions and break the rules. Some of the stunts they did were illegal and would not have made it in a real competition. You might be thinking, "How would you know?" I used to be a competition cheerleader and dancer. My coach made sure we knew the rules inside and out. If they did some of the stunts they did in this movie, they would have never won or made it that far. Safety is big in the cheerleading world and those rules are made for safety. Breaking them is a big no no.
Another thing is that the main team's dance at the end sucked. It was sloppy, uncreative, and just bad. I, and the other girl's I cheered with, agreed that the other team (with the "bad girl" character) did a much better job. It was insulting to see the main team do so badly and be treated as if they were awesome. In past Bring It On movies the final dance those teams did were so much better.
Finally, the acting. The whole cast wasn't horrible, but a few of the actresses over acted and seemed to be trying to hard.
So overall, unless you have time to waste, don't watch this movie. Watch the other Bring On Movies before you watch this. It is a waste of time and a waste of a movie.
