A Stand Against Discrimination
JordanThomasHall22 May 2018
The Fitzgeralds offer Bridget and Bernie free rent for a year in an upscale apartment as a wedding present. The couple doesn't like charity but consider it for privacy. They view the mid-century modern dazzler and decide to take it. They have trouble adjusting and try to get out of the lease. The building manager Morrison (familiar character actor John Fiedler) insists they cannot, but finds it an easy task when he learns their last name is "Sternberg". Now Bernie wishes to stay as a way of making a stand. When Morrison cuts off utilities to the apartment, they decide to fight back with the Fitzgeralds angered by the discrimination. Walt aims to get to the bottom of the building's mystery owner.
