An astounding portrait about a young woman's joyfull life towards Sainthood.
paulteunissen3 October 2022
By 'accident' I learned about this documentary on Youtube about Sister Clare's astonishing journey as a young lady who's life was fully transformed by her conversion to Christ and the Eucharist.

Her life path started off as a vibrant young Irish girl living in a socially torn apart community, yet gifted with the talent of drama, laughter and theatre, but also prone to a superficial life with lots of partying and even more booze.

By 'accident' her life took a turn when she got the oppertunity to take part in a group visiting Spain of which she thought would be a sun-beach-party-trip but which later turned out to be a pilgrimage. This is when she first met the sisters of the community of Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother. Genuinely impressed by this experience she then spoke out her devotion to Christ and returned to Derry, Ireland but also fell back to her previous sinfull habits.

Meanwhile her theatrical talents weren't left unnoticed and she was casted for a role in a feature cinema movie which most likely would have been a promise of a future life of fame, glamour and riches.

One evening when being so sick of drunkeness she ended up in a toilet stall and she felt as if someone was directly watching her. An inner voice asked Clare: "Why are you hurting Me so much?".

This very experience caused her to review her life instantly and while crying in a hotelroom for all night Clare made a voluntairily promise to Christ to dedicate her whole life to Him, the Eucharist and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Clare decided to join the community of Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother in Spain which was initially met by great sceptisism and disappointment by her family and many of her friends who later on exepted her choice seeing her fully happy and filled with joy.

Her life as a novice allready sparked a lot of joy in her community and the children and people around her with whom she worked.

Her sincere joy in life with Christ worked out contagiously in an authentic way which culminated in a sincere appreciation and inspiration to all around her.

Joking around, her singing and laughter defines a large part of her presence yet she was very dedicated to the humble tasks of every day's work and her mystical devotion to Christ and the Virgin Mary and it were these values and virtues she stressed out to be of most importance to the children she worked with and the patients in hospitals she comforted; 'Do not commit sin or even worse; deadly sin. Convert, repent, go to confession, share in the Eucharist as often as you can and pray the Rosary on a daily basis.'

It was the astonishing combination of a devoted life in faith and her joyfull approach which made her life so inspirational for many people in and after her earthly life.

Her young age is both a big surprise and an eye opener for all audiences, especially young people who so often grow up in an upscaling virtueless and cynical world.

This documentary moved many people to warm tears without sliding downward to a sentimental drama.

Brilliantly edited up close presentation of an Irish girl's life. Brings tears of joy

I stumbled across this in U Tube. I don't know why or how so many up close videos were taken if this young girl's face as she interacted with so many people. Her real life smile is a joy to watch and the story again and again brings tears of joy as you see so many people fall in love with her. You actually see her conversion event and watch her joyful spiritual growth after that. You see so many people speak lovingly of what a powerhouse of joyful life hanging influence she wielded. Many interviews from immediate family to friends, to students to fellow nuns and some of her own testimony. This is an extremely effective biographical documentary. The U Tube comments go on and on. I can't think of anyone except perhaps a satanist who would not love this video.
