While I think it has some issues, My Pride is by far the best animated web series I've seen so far. It's super well-made in terms of direction, editing, animation, scoring, etc., but more importantly, it's almost always really compelling in multiple ways; the characters are complex and endearing, the story has many unique and unpredictable elements (as well as some really clever foreshadowing, on the other end of the spectrum), it has immersive worldbuilding that progresses well, and if you pay attention to its themes, the show may actually leave you with something to think about. On top of that, there is not a single dull moment in the second half of the season - it's really tightly structured and always manages to be captivating in one way or another, whether it's because it's intense, heartwarming, or uplifting, just to name a few adjectives. All that being said, though, My Pride does falter sometimes, mostly because of some minor continuity errors, but especially during some of the earlier episodes where the writing can be fairly bland and cliché. Thankfully, the show does have a strong introduction that's almost sure to hook you into the story, and it also picks up considerably towards the middle of the season. Overall, I'd highly recommend this show to anyone who's into fantasy that has a realistic edge or to anyone who wants to become invested in an interesting, endearing story. Awesome show.
